Four Seasons guests can park two cars in the private driveway, additional parking on street front. Nice family oriented neighborhood.
The roads are flat roads for bicycling. Golf carts rule the road! Golf carts are fun to drive, bring your own or rent one.
Come in through the back porch. Using electonic lock with you specific code.
The cottage is fully furnished and bedding, paper goods included.
The kitchen fully stocked and gas grill on deck- all you’ll need Is food! Colonial Beach has two grocery stores, a convenient store and many restaurants.
The cottage features a large enclosed porch, very large fenced yard for you and your pets, and patio.
Guests can spread out with 3 bedrooms and recently remodeled 2 bathrooms! Watch the sunset on Monroe Bay from the front porch!
The best beach around is just a couple blocks away!
For your convenience beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels and toys included. Parking at the beach is $2. per hour, download the app ‘Flowbird’.
Colonial Beach, Virginia (CBVA) is a river and beach town located in the northwestern part of Westmoreland County on Virginia's Northern Neck peninsula. It is bounded by the Potomac River, Monroe Bay and Monroe Creek and home to the second-largest beachfront in the state. It is located 65 mi (105 km) from Washington, D.C.; 70 mi (110 km) from the state capital of Richmond; and 35 nautical miles from the Chesapeake Bay.

Colonial Beach is an interesting little town that was a very pleasant visit. We have family near by but wanted our own place to stay. We have two very small dogs and it was perfect for them as well. We will be back again.

My 71 year old mother and I along with our 2 small dogs were thrilled worh the property. It had a huge fenced backyard that the dogs enjoyed exploring. The property provided every convenience you could need: from paper towels, toilet paper, beach chairs, beach towels, and s beach umbrella. The property is one level which was perfect for my mother who had 2 knee replacements. The property owners had a walk in shower, a shower seat, handrails in the shower, and other amenities that made the property senior friendly. The location was perfect distance from both the beach and bay side. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and very convenient. We will definitely look at renting this same property next year!

We stayed over 4th of July 2024. The house was supper clean when we arrived and the owners had everything very thoughtfully set up.it is apparent they have pride of ownership and had put a lot of effort into preparing the house for renting. There were a good number of board games to keep the teens busy and the fully fenced back yard was great for our dogs. Would 100% stay there again!!!!

This cottage is very cozy and a lot of seating room, perfect for our family of 6. Very quiet and the sunroom is a wonderful room and cool! The yard is spacious, our beagle loved it. The owner is very kind to have everything needed, just bring your food and what you need. She was always great in communicating with me and prompt. This sure is a wonderful spot and our family made great memories here. Thank you so very much!

The Four Seasons Cottage was enjoyed very much over the past Memorial Day weekend. This is an excellent place to stay,..convenient to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Very nice neighborhood,..quiet,...clean accommodations. The hosts have provided everything you will need for a nice stay......our small dogs equally enjoyed the fenced in back yard. overall,..highly recommended.

Three adults stayed for 2 weeks at Colonial Beach the last 2 weeks in August. Weather was hot and the air conditioning combined with the ceiling fans cooled us quickly when we cam in from activities. Cottage was well appointed and we wanted for nothing. Furniture was comfortable, cute beach decor. We rented a golf cart from T&T carts and they were great! Lots of fun was had by all.

Had a lovely time at the Four Seasons cottage. Highlights include good AC and comfy master mattress. We really enjoyed the enclosed porch for reading, eating, and playing games. Cottage has many places for people to sit and relax. Big yard for the dogs. Easy to walk or drive all places in Colonial Beach. Kitchen is not full scale: oven/range is not full size, and there is no dishwasher, however I was still able to cook most meals I had planned. Would stay again!

Great first trip to Colonial Beach! Exactly what we were looking for in a vacation! Quiet, no crowds, nice beaches. Not much going on or open during the week. Restaurants that were open were wonderful! Seems like a weekend destination. Cottage was clean. Perfect size for four adults. Although it sleeps six, would have been almost too cozy with two more people. Neighbors and entire community are very friendly! Hope to visit again!

Very nice, clean cottage in the south east part of Colonial Beach. Nice fenced in yard for the pets. Everything you need to enjoy a quiet getaway. Year round residents surround the property so it’s plenty quiet. Neighbors were nice and didn’t mind answering questions about the area. My teenage daughters complained about the WiFi being slow. My wife complained about the mosquitoes. Those were really the only two complaints that I heard all week. FWIW, the cell service was pretty good, so I really didn’t have an issue with the WIFI myself. Owner keeps the place stocked up with things you may need, there was even a surprise dozen eggs in the fridge when we arrived. Will likely rent this place again!!!!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was spotless, cozy, and decorated in a beach theme. The refrigerator held honey, eggs, and snap peas from the owners’ farm with a nice note. The house is half a block from the bay and 2 blocks from the river and very close to the beaches and town. The house has a huge fenced-in backyard which our dog enjoyed. The owners were easy to contact and could not have been more accommodating. We are already looking forward to another stay at the 4 Seasons,

Stayed here before and the new owners Tammy and Steve are wonderful. Love the cozy beach decor and the beds are super comfy. Big fenced yard for the dogs and deck for us. Location between Monroe Bay and the Potomac River is great. What could be better; R&R at the beach and fresh seafood. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for the surprise in the refrigerator...what a treat.
