    Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting, this stylish, family-friendly retreat is perfect for a beach vacation, cozy weekend, or getaway with friends.

    The home features 3 bedrooms, including a king suite with a daybed + trundle, a queen + bunks room, and a third queen; plenty of space for everyone. Designed by a professional interior designer, every detail has been thoughtfully curated for comfort and style.

    Step outside to find three private decks, a hot tub under the stars, a fire pit for s’mores and stories, and a yard space set up for games. Whether you’re sipping morning coffee on the private upstairs deck or winding down after a day at the beach, Monroe House is made for making memories.

    Forgot something? No worries! Dollar General is within walking distance for any last-minute essentials (like that toothbrush you swore you packed).

    You’re just half a mile from Hagar Shore Beach and Roadside Park Beach, two gorgeous spots for swimming, sunset walks, or beach picnics. DiMaggio’s Pizza is nearby- grab a pizza and take it to the lake for a picnic with a view! Looking to explore more? You’re just 10 miles from St. Joseph and 12 miles from South Haven, two charming lakeside towns full of dining, ice cream, shopping, and attractions. We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our family and very clean. Super close to beach access and a dollar general around the corner if you forget any essentials. House had everything we needed for a family vacation.

Great property for relaxing and the grandchildren liked the game room. Catie communicated quickly to our questions and is a wonderful host. Best property experience we’ve ever had in Michigan - close to beaches and St. Joseph and Holland.

Wonderful house for my 6 adults, 3 children, and a dog. Plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen had everything we needed. There were toys for the kids and a game room. The beach is just a few minutes away from the house. We loved our time there.

We loved this place! It was so cute and had everything we needed. My kids thought the game room was a nice touch. They also liked the hot tub. We were a short drive from the beach. It’s a bit off the beaten path for shopping but we also thought it was a great deal compared with other listings. Nice, clean interior and comfortable sleeping.

This is our second visit at Monroe House, because we loved it so much last summer. We loved it just as much this year! Everything is perfect, no concerns at all. Plus the beaches are so close, house is on a dead end, close to neighboring cities for food and activities. Owners are great. We will be back!

Loved the place, and after the beach everyday it was nice to come back to a secluded location with a hot tub and fire pit at night.

The house is very well maintained. The location feels secluded, but is centrally located to South Haven and St. Joseph. It met all our expectations for a great vacation spot.

We had a great time and the place was perfect for our girls trip! The house was clean and well-stocked with paper products and kitchen supplies. The hot tub was a hit! Water pressure and AC were a nice bonus, which isn't always the case in this area. Note that the beach access close to the house (within 1 mile) is a loooong staircase or large dunes. Flatter beach access is about 15 minutes away. But that worked for us. Overall, a great experience and the communications from the owners were quick and helpful! Would highly recommend!

Second stay! Lovely home/ accommodations-quiet peaceful scenic area. Very private. Owners were super! Adults and grandkids loved it and can’t wait til next year! Close to multiple beaches too!

Great getaway

We had a wonderful time at the house. It worked out perfect for my family and the dogs. Beaches were a short drive away. Enjoyed the space immensely along with the fire pit. We will be back.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We had a truly relaxing and memorable stay here in Coloma. The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—and more. We especially loved the upstairs deck, liked the peaceful backyard with amazing fire pit & the proximity to the beaches.This area is such a hidden gem—between the nearby beaches, wineries, and small-town charm, we had the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Great woodsy retreat near Lake Michigan

Couldn’t stay at a nicer, cleaner or more comfortable place. We cannot say enough good things about the accommodation or or the hosts. They even went out and got a swifter for my husband.

Tucked away gem

My daughter and I and her two children (2 & 8) enjoyed a three day stay in this beautiful home tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Only a short drive to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Catie had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room, and fire pit. Very clean and modern home, easy check-in and out. We will come again!
