  • Valley View Escape comenzó como una visión para restaurar una granja de más de 130 años. Años después de haber sido completado y disfrutado por amigos y familiares, era evidente que este preciado hogar histórico debía ser compartido y disfrutado por otros. La casa se encuentra en una colina rodeada por una granja de 500 acres y domina el valle, mientras que las cordilleras distantes proporcionan un fondo sereno. El porche envolvente con vistas cautivadoras es idílico para los amantes del café, conversadores, amantes de los libros y perfecto para un juego de damas. En su interior encontrará gran parte de la casa con pisos y paredes originales. Las dos escaleras originales siguen siendo funcionales añadiendo al carácter y al encanto. La planta baja consta de un dormitorio principal que se abre a un porche cubierto, 1 ½ baños, cocina, área de comedor y pasillo con escaleras, sala de estar con chimenea y área de comedor adicional. La planta superior consta de baño, 2 dormitorios y 1 habitación grande con 3 camas. Dispersos por toda la propiedad, encontrará pintorescos edificios rústicos y equipos agrícolas antiguos que se suman al tema histórico, junto con el escenario perfecto para una fogata y un smores. Encontrará mucha actividad en un radio de 20 millas o puede encontrarse perfectamente contento disfrutando de las cautivadoras vistas desde el porche delantero. Relaxing Getaway with the family

Wonderful!

We absolutely loved staying here! The home is beautiful and spacious enough to fit our large family comfortably. The kids loved seeing the donkeys and especially loved the “moo moos”. The host was very responsive to our messages and easy to communicate with.

Wonderful

This was our second time staying at Valley View Escape. The kids were so excited to go back to “the Alabama house”, and were equally excited to find cinnamon rolls waiting again when we arrived. The house and property are beautiful, and I loved reading about the restoration process! We plan to stay again!

Great Home for Relaxation

To me, the old fashioned feel of the house created a coziness that our family needed. Although all the modern conveniences are available, the seclusion of the property provided the respite from the fast paced modern world we all live in. It provides the framework for a very relaxing stay, no matter what you are looking for.

Family Christmas

We had a great stay at the farm house, it brought our family together for a Christmas celebration since moms house is too small now. The kids loved the donkeys and roasting marshmallows in the firepit (roasting sticks in the house). The house was beautiful and nicely updated while maintaining all of its character.

A true blessing

This was a wonderful place for us to gather after having not been together for several years. Every detail was taken care of to make this the perfect place to have an early Christmas. We are so very grateful and we will return!!!

Family vacation to visit relatives

This was a beautiful property. It was exactly like the pictures showed. We had plenty of room for our entire family. We loved the cinnamon rolls and note from our hosts that were waiting for us when we arrived. The front porch view is stunning. My grandkids loved seeing the cows an donkeys. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house that met our needs

It was a wonderful weekend as our son was married at Dry Creek Chapel that Saturday night. We mainly only slept there, but it met our needs as a couple of my son's groomsmen stayed with us Friday night and a couple of family members from out of state stayed on Saturday night. I hope we can come back when we can stay longer and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Our third visit and not last visit!

Our whole family absolutely loves this house. It is so beautiful and quiet, very peaceful. Kids loved the donkeys and other animals, lots of nature and woods around for them to explore. Very friendly hosts with good communication and delicious cinnamon rolls at arrival. Used the grill at the back of the house this time and the outdoor fire pit every night, great memories for the kids. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely beautiful historical home! I enjoyed reading the Open Bible, and how it was written and all the helpful info for learning. Loved sitting in the porch!!! (just wish the stray dogs did not come up on the porch…..perhaps, a gate across both steps onto porch would be helpful) The view in the valley to the mountain range and the sunrise and sunset…..WOW! God’s creation is absolutely beautiful!

Magical Getaway

Valley View Escape is a beautiful property! The home is roomy for a large group yet cozy like being home, and the host is so thoughtful. We had a yummy breakfast to enjoy for the weekend waiting for us when we arrived. The host also left us a lovely greeting on a notecard depicting the same birds that can be seen around the property. Even though we stayed during a weekend when the temps were really cold, we couldn’t resist wrapping up and enjoying the country views from the wraparound porch. Our group had such a lovely time at Valley View Escape, we are already planning another weekend visit in the Spring. The home is really special and a great place to relax with your loved ones.
