Sitting right on the shore of Malletts Bay on Lake Champlain, this lovely waterfront home features an unbeatable Lake Champlain view. Near all the area's attractions, you'll still feel a million miles away in this private setting. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the plethora of nearby parks to explore and hiking trails. For another way to admire the nearby waters, book a fishing charter and bring a pole as you enjoy a mellow outing while casting your line.

You'll find gleaming hardwood floors, stylish furnishings, and high ceilings in your vacation home. Start the day with coffee in the sunny three-season room, then have a quick dip in the pool before breakfast. The chef of your group will love the updated, spacious kitchen with gleaming granite countertops, abundant cabinetry, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a double oven. Go for a dip in the private pool in the backyard, which is sure to be a hit in the warmer months. Relax in comfort thanks to the central air-conditioning, or get cozy in front of the gas fireplace in the cooler months. Watch a little TV or use the free WiFi and dedicated workstation to catch up on any remote work, then head back outside to the deck for a family cookout on the gas grill. Drift off to sleep in any of the well-appointed bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with an en suite bath and direct outdoor access via the three-season room. The perfect Malletts Bay vacation awaits - all that's left to do is book it.


Since April 2023, there are no additional renters downstairs.
The pool opens Memorial Day weekend at the earliest and closes mid-September at the latest, depending on the weather.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
7 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 50 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Seeing the eclipse
My son and I stayed for two nights to watch the eclipse. The property was in excellent condition. Very clean with an excellent kitchen. The conservatory off the main bedroom was a highlight The beds were very comfortable While we had no children there is a great range of outdoor options for them. Would recommend this property

Beautiful property in a great neighborhood
The place was just as advertised. Clean and spacious within a beautiful neighborhood walking distance to parks for the kids, across the street to lake access, and an easy drive to downtown Burlington. From playing yard games, to grilling out by the pool, to sitting on the peaceful little beach at the lake, and cooking in the chefs kitchen, a great time was had by adults and toddlers alike. I was worried after reading reviews about VACASA property management but we had no troubles communicating with them for minor issues. Pack toiletries and cleaning supplies that are typically standard at a rental. We spent a week with a group of 8 and there were very limited supplies provided which I mentioned to the property group.

Lovely home. Good stay.
Lovely home in a nice neighborhood that is convenient to everything. Beautiful view of the lake, which is right outside your window. Nice pool and sunroom. Dealing with Vacasa before the trip was challenging and there were some minor broken things inside as well as some cleaning issues, but overall a nice stay.

Beautiful home
Very large home, beautiful and spacious with many of your cooking items available for use. We experienced a couple issues regarding our agreement that we were able to settle quickly. Communication was also a slight issue, give yourself ample time if you have questions. Other than that everything was great and we had a great time!

Overall this is a very nice home and beautifully located on the lake. The place was clean, very comfortable and had a well-stocked kitchen. In terms of the property itself, I would give this place 5 stars! Our challenges had to do with the check-in process and a lack of hot water. We got a text midafternoon that the home was ready for early check-in. We arrived around 2:00 but could not access the house with the code that had been provided. Once we contacted Vacasa, they informed us of a lockbox with a separate key but the lockbox was empty. After several phone calls back and forth, we were told that the local Vacasa representative "wasn't answering his phone" and that someone was driving from 2 hours away to get us into the house. Around 6:00 (4 hours after our arrival), we were finally able to get into the home. When we attempted to do dishes after dinner, we discovered that there was no hot water in the kitchen sink. Further investigating revealed that only the master bathroom had hot water but he kitchen and second bathroom did not. We made the best of the situation by bringing hot water from the master bathroom to the kitchen to do dishes but this certainly had an impact on our ability to use the kitchen, take showers, etc.

Beautiful House with View of Malletts Bay
We stayed at this house in mid-January, despite having only one review on VBRO, so I hope to give the reader more insight into this really nice house! There are three large, comfortable bedrooms, two nice bathrooms (both with double sinks), a fantastic kitchen open to the living area, with a gas fireplace, and a dining room. There are two other rooms: a sunroom, we did not go out onto (being January and all), and an office nook - not needed for our stay. There is also a laundry/mud room and a two car garage. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. (Everyone bed was used and everyone said they were comfortable.) The kitchen was fully stocked - pots, pans, cookie sheets, bowls, utensils, plates, etc... also small salt, pepper, olive oil, cooking spray, an assortment of teas, and sugar. Basically, they had everything we needed for two dinners for 8 people. Honestly, I would absolutely stay here again - winter or summer. (There is a pool!) We did have two gripes, 1) had a fuse blow on the kitchen island as we were preparing dinner, and because the house is (newly) managed but a large management company with out a local rep, we were left without a working microwave or dishwasher for more than 12 hours, as we did not have access to the fuse box/circuit board. When a rep did finally call us back, they said they were working on a local person, but this new property did not yet have one. Until that happened, I would easily give this house a 5 out of 5. Once the rental management company gets their act together, I'm sure it will be a real find! 2) There is a basement apartment, which is not listed in the description. A tenant lives there. They were find, nice, etc... but we needed to move our cars because they, too, needed to get in and out. Everyone in our party agreed this house is fabulous. Although the house isn't brand new, everything was freshly painted and looks new. The floors honestly glistened. And it felt very, very clean. We would stay again, if they get a local rep for their management.
