  • Apt. On 1st floor of Andalusian house in beautiful rural property, 20Km from the Costa de Sol and Malaga. 30min from Caminito del Rey. It consists of lounge-kitchen (fully equipped), 2 attic bedrooms with large closets and desks, private terrace with wonderful views, equipped with table, chairs and barbecue.
    It has separate entrance, bathroom, storage room, smart tv, wifi, heating, air conditioning, and lake conditioning for the bathroom, with rest area and barbecue.

    Accommodation
    You can walk around the farm, see the animals, plants and native trees, as well as rest in the lake area or on the terrace lookout, from where you can contemplate the beautiful panoramic view of the entire Guadalhorce Valley.
    It is a place designed for the enjoyment of nature and rest.

    Services and common areas
    On the farm there is a traditional ceramic workshop, where you work daily, as well as a rural museum. To visit these facilities it will be necessary to contact the hostess (at no additional cost).
    The apartment has a separate entrance and only shares the common areas (lake and surroundings, terrace on the ground floor, parking)

    Attention to the guests
    The owners are available to guests for what they may need. Also at a time (previously arranged) of the stay, they offer to take a guided tour of the facilities of the farm.

Lovely peaceful stay

The farmhouse is just lovely and in such a beautiful setting. There are a few bars within walking distance but advise hiring a car to get around as there are so many places to visit. The pool is lovely and shaded areas if you need them. The hosts were very good although they didn’t speak much English we managed to communicate thanks to google translate. Check in was easy and they were always there if we needed anything Would definitely recommend this property

A lovely, calm, relaxing holiday

The property photos do not do justice to the beauty of this place. There is an enormous, cool and interesting shaped private pool and the poolside area has natural, dappled shade of many different trees (and access to a fridge with freeze box and small kitchen for quick access to your lollies and drinks). There is no human noise, just the wind through the trees and the cicadas chirruping. You can wander around the orchards of figs, avocados and oranges( we were welcomed with a basket of their oranges and were given a huge bowl of figs to try later on the next week) and can have a guided tour of the fascinating, traditional pottery and museum which are all part of the family house and livelihood (although very slow now, as they have retired). The apartment is situated above the family house and has two large verandas with magnificent views. We had a large family dining table with a sun shade on one veranda and a BBQ on the other. The bedrooms are well furnished and have beautiful hard wood bureaus for all your bits and pieces as well as loads of wardrobe space. The kitchen has all you need, and plenty of fridge and freezer space. There's an efficient washing machine in it's own little outhouse off one of the verandas (and a clothes drying rack). You are best advised to hire a car (although at a push could manage without). There are a couple of bars/restaurants about ten minutes walk away (can't hear them from the house) and the beautiful town of Coin is a thirty minute walk or a short 5 min drive. There are a few large supermarkets in Coin (including Lidl and Aldi) so you can do your main shopping quite cheaply, and many lovely little restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours in the old part of town. There is a large shopping centre just out of town with a giant Carrefour supermarket, cinema etc and has a Sunday flea market. We were so relaxed there we didn't feel the need to get out and about that much but we did explore the Barranco Blanco waterfalls, a very short drive away and the wonderful lakes about 45 minutes away (excellent fresh water swimming). All in all, we felt this was the best holiday we have ever had. A big thank you to our hosts, Toni, Pepe and Gabriel.
