Majestic rural mountain landscape on the Greybull River in historic Meeteetse, Wyoming. Venture out for a short trip to Yellowstone National Park, the hot springs of Thermopolis, or the ghost town of Kirwin. Within 30 minutes is the historic town of Cody, namesake of the infamous Buffalo Bill, known for its world famous rodeo and nightly cowboy shootout reenactments. Great hunting nearby and trout fishing available right from the backyard. There is plenty to explore right in town (walking distance) with great local restaurants, bars, a chocolatier, and a wonderful local museum. Whether you are lost or not, this is your time to wander!

Description of home:
Loft king bedroom overlooking the river, large comfortable leather sofa and loveseat, dining table for 8 and bar in kitchen. Large open-concept kitchen with granite countertops. Full bath on main floor. Two lower level bedrooms with queen bed in bedroom 1 and queen bunks in bedroom 2 (no beds on main floor). Spa tub and shower (dual shower head) on lower level. Full-size washer and dryer. Large deck with view of the river and outside dining set with room for 8. Comfortable Adirondack chairs to enjoy the river view. Firepit next to river.

The home is lovely, very nice & great spot by the river. We are older & did have a hard time with the stairs. We chose the lower bedroom because of the bathroom being on the same floor. All in all it was wonderful.

Fantastic cabin!

We had a family vacation with 4 adults and 1 6-yr old child staying at this cabin for 3 nights and it was absolutely fantastic! I don’t normally write reviews but am this time because it was that exceptionally good. The property is very well maintained, spotlessly clean & well stocked. I picked the location because our 6 year old loves throwing pebbles into rivers, and although this cabin is located centrally in the town with a population of 390 people, we didn’t see any people at all while we sat out back around the fire pit two of our 3 nights there. It is located about 30 minutes from Cody & I recommend you stop there for your groceries on the way since there isn’t a proper grocery store in Meteetse. This property is a 10 out of 10!!

WONDERFUL cabin in Meeteetse.

Our family comes to the Cody area often for business and pleasure. This was by far our favorite cabin so far. We had a family of 5 and could have easily had 2-4 more people comfortably. Cleanliness: I am incredibly picky on cleanliness and this cabin exceeded my expectations. Everything was immaculate. All of the beds were very comfortable and cozy. The living area/kitchen was roomy and beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the washer/dryer was a great bonus. Everything was even more beautiful than the pictures. The outdoor space was beautiful and even in December we were able to utilize the fire pit and grill. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Cabin

We loved everything about this cabin!!! We highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a place to stay. It is worth the drive to and from Cody for groceries/restaurants/entertainment to stay in this peaceful place.

Guy trip

This trip was well needed for several reasons. For me personally it was kind of bittersweet. The trip was planned for my brother who had been battling cancer for several years. A trip with some of our friends we grew up with . Unfortunately , my brother passed away the week before our trip. But there’s not a doubt in my mind he was there with us. Thank you so much for everything. The place was awesome.

Meeteetse Cabin, Aug 21 2024

A great find in the small town of Meeteetse. Directly in town but with the feel of being in a cabin out in the wilderness. My wife and I enjoyed coffee in the morning out back overlooking the Greybull River and watching the parade of wildlife pass by. Turkeys, mule deer, ducks, seem to love the river highway. Inside was very comfortable with that rustic cabin feel. All the amenities that you need. There is a very good restaurant in town but if you need more, you are only 30 minutes from Cody.
