Crummock Water is a mile to the north, and the area is dominated by the dramatic peaks of Red Pike, High Stile, High Crag and Whiteless Pike, all within 3 miles. Other major lakes, including Ennerdale Water, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake are all within 15 miles, offering breathtaking walks and opportunities for water sports. Nearby Cockermouth (10.5 miles) and Keswick (9.5 miles) have some fantastic places to eat and drink, with local landmarks including Mirehouse and Gardens, Puzzling Place and the Lake District Wildlife Park, all within 15 miles.

This delightful L-shaped room has several windows offering glorious rural views. There’s ample seating, a handy electric fire and a TV in the comfortable lounge, ideal for unwinding after a meal enjoyed around the central dining table. The room then curves round into a fully equipped and stylishly arranged kitchen with plenty of workspace and storage. Exploring this bright, airy and relaxing bolthole further you will find a charming, tastefully decorated bedroom with a lovely king-size bed. The accommodation also features a refreshing bathroom.

Heading outside, the enclosed garden has a sweet lawn and outdoor furniture, offering a relaxing spot for dining alfresco at the end of a fantastic day and for taking in the majestic views of the surrounding woodlands and fells. Private parking is available for one car outside the cottage.
