Montezuma Heights "Geco" studio. In between ocean and the wild. Sleeps 2

Geco is a really nice studio cabin with jungle and ocean view and only few steps away from our pool. It is in the second newest and is of all and has a touchy and cozy finish. The antic wood gives it his unique warm touch. We are 2,5 miles uphill Montezuma.

The details on it, tells about our way of
embracing life, our view of creation. The cabin has a bigger balcony welcoming the horizon and jungle with it's animals and birds.The sunrise awakes on the bed. Pelicans, frigate birds,falcons and other bird species indulge the sky day by day. Cheers !

*The materials used on the construction of all cabins are from native antique wood: floors, doors and windows that we have rescued over the years, in order to avoid cutting more trees and for recycling purposes. Some of those pieces are from 1920.

The Geco studio was the perfect fit for us. Hidden away and perched on the mountain overlooking the beaches of Montezuma. The pool and grounds were clean and there is quite a bit of shared space around the property. While there were other people there, it was spacious and quiet. Peter was very quick and clear in communication and Santiago greeted us at the gate and helped us settle in and saw us off. It felt like we needed more time here, but quickly headed off to our next adventure. We would very much stay here again in the future.

Gorgeous View - Tough location.

I would like to first say this, I absolutely had no clue, really, of what I was about to venture on for the next 30 days when I arrived in Montezuma, (Montezuma Heights), as a single middle aged woman who didn’t speak any Spanish, driving myself, in a country that I truly was not completely prepared for. So I will assume my part of responsibility. I am happy to say that Peter was very good with his prompt communication with me. If I had questions he was good to get back to me in a timely manner. You must be aware that the roads are very very rough leading to this property. I myself, would never want to travel those roads without 4 -wheel drive. The property is beautiful, yes, with a gorgeous view and lovely pool. My unit was comfortable and clean, however, it’s located behind and below the other units, therefore fairly dark atmosphere. (Lighting maybe). There is a pathway back to this unit that also is very dark so a light source is needed. The pool area also needs to be put on some sort of automatic motion detection for lighting. Was not able to enjoy the pool area one night due to no lights at all. I did enjoy listening to the Howler Monkeys out there somewhere. I did enjoy very much the actual area and the beautiful flowers, and the awesome sounds of the jungle. Costa Rica is a magical place. Laurie W.

Fun drive

The pool and view were great. Very quiet even with other guests. The roads are rough and driving in the town is not fun. I wasn’t there to drive so it was just right for me!
