Andy communicated promptly and gave clear instructions on where to locate our key and room. Quiet location just a few minutes’ drive from the quay in Portmagee. "Excellent location. Lovely entryway and stairway to upper floors (natural light, wide). Elevator was very small and slow. Excellent design choices in the room. The shower in our room leaked water all through the bathroom despite attempts to direct water away from (uncloseable) opening. Toilet cover and one handtowel were stained (dirty). Despite billing itself as an eco-friendly establishment, we saw no provisions made for recycling or composting in our rooms or elsewhere. We had booked...

"Book the stay, called to arrange a taxi to the hotel. Told the lady we were arrive late because of flight cancellation and she said to call 3 taxi services the day of travel. No taxis are working at 8:30 pm on the coast. So there was no way to make it to the hotel and we couldn’t get a refund. Disappointing and frustrating. The lady should have informed us of the area and how taxi’s don’t run late, I could have cancelled and gotten my money back earlier. Paid for a stay I could never arrive at."

"Visited with friends and had a good stay. The rooms and restaurant were of a high standard. Check in was via App although as I was remote from networks at times it was a bit complex. In room breakfast was good but I would have preferred a cooked Irish. The Restaurant could not take credit cards on the night due to equipment failure so had to pay the next day. Businesses should have back up options available .... spent half an hour standing around while a workaround approach was agreed."
