"When I checked in they gave me a room that had not been cleaned. They moved me to another room that had also not been cleaned. They finally found me a clean room but it wasn’t with the view that I had originally booked. They did not offer me any compensation for the lower room class."

"This hotel was okay for the price. The hotel is older with several updates needed. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would have liked to be comfortable and the blow dryer that was attached to the bathroom wasn’t was broken hanging off the wall. The staff wasn’t very friendly and the breakfast wasn’t ready until about 30 mins after it was supposed to start. The pool is pretty small and there were not fresh towels for the pool."

"We had a wonderful family weekend. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. I loved how the beach was a few steps away from the hotel. The restaurant/bar has delicious food and drinks. You do have to park for parking $15 dollars per day but I would do it again cuz we loveee this place. Can’t wait to be back."

"The room was very clean; however, there was a lack of any sort of broom/dustpan and zero paper towels available when arriving. We opted to avoid any room service during the stay, and the lack of broom made it difficult to keep sand out of the room. We only went to the pool one day, we were honestly a little underwhelmed with the size of the pool - I can't imagine how cramped the pool would seem during more peak times of the year. We had to do a last minute audible on where we were staying...

"We enjoyed our stay at the The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach. The location was great — within walking distance to the boardwalk with several restaurants and a nice coffee shop we enjoyed stopping at in the mornings. The lobby and restaurant areas were clean and well kept, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. The pool areas were nice as well. The large pool was still a little too cold during our visit, and the heated pool stayed pretty crowded, but because of the amazing beach...

Very comfortable beds. Never experienced any issues and staff was always available at the front desk if necessary. Easy check in and check out. "

"It's so beautiful in the Courtyard is beautiful. The restaurant upstairs is awesome. The beach is a few steps down. We go there like this has been our eight year.I think we got married on the beach there.It is so beautiful crystal clear water emerald green"
