"The hotel and room were not kept up well. It looks like they havent updated anything in 30 years.The A/C worked fine. I didn't eat breakfast. It's criminal to call what they had a gym. It's literally the worst hotel gym ever. The pool closes at 8pm. Boo. The family that owns the place was nice, but they treated the lobby like their own living room. Barefoot, feet on the table, etc. Not very clean and definitely unprofessional. I hate to leave a bad review, but I would not recommend this place."

"When I booked this property I read the reviews and they were terrible. But the room was fine. Plumbing could use some work, but the the bed was soft warm and dry, and the shower hot and wet. No mold or dust bunnies in sight. Staff was great. TV and wifi worked. But no breakfast even through there is a restaurant. Parking looked easy and safe. But I suspect this conference center was built when Aurora had better prospects and is now a money loser for the owners. My brother says the food...

"Terrible experience. Got into my room, sat down in the bathroom and had no toilet paper. Room had dirty, damaged carpet, furniture was run down. Tile in bathroom was coming off the wall and half the lights didn't work. 50% of the time I tried to flush the toilet I had to reach into the tank and fiddle with the guts to get the tank to fill with water! Awful!! In the morning I tried to take a shower and the handle wouldn't come up to make the water come from the shower head. I went to the...

"The room was perfect with the common area and two separate bedrooms each with full bathrooms. The only downfall was the hot water. It took over 25 minutes to get water warm enough to shower, but by no means ever actually hot enough to enjoy. The hotel knew that they had a problem but were not forthcoming about it. I felt I really should have been offered some compensation for the water being frigid! Burrr"
