"We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. "Loved our stay here! Rooms are great and you are on the water! We enjoyed the room, views of the bay from the room, and being just across the street from the promenade. Our kids jumped off the dive board which was a highlight of their trip to Galway! We loved the hotel, enjoyed drinks in the sunroom looking at the bay, and the Irish breakfast is fantastic. "Lovely atmosphere in the lobby area, but would suggest a play area for children and also re-configure the changing room for women/children as flight of stairs is difficult to manage to/from the swimming pool and same also need to get through the gym area before/after swim which brings up a safety and privacy issue!"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont tellement confortables et agréables, parfaites pour se reposer. Puis les repas étaient très bons à chaque fois (matin et soir). Le personnel était au petit soin. Nous reviendrons."

"The 3 of us stayed here for 1 night. We needed to visited a few places in town and the receptionist Rebecca was excellent and rang the taxi rank and mentioned all our destination's and made it so easy for us, we also dined in the bar and it was so tasty, room 401 was spacious and the staff. We’re so kind even at breakfast. would stay here again 100%, felt like a home from home, when back to Galway - Angela 🌻"

"We had a very comfortable stay at the Skeffington Arms in Galway. We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable, and there was air conditioning in each room. One of our rooms' air conditioning units was not working properly, and the room was a bit warm, but not bad. We were located in the back of the hotel, so we were not disturbed by the music in the pub downstairs. We immensely enjoyed the musician at the Skeff Bar. It was one of the highlights of our trip. "Brand new Hotel. I’m used to staying in older modified hotels all across Ireland . This place is fun and modern. Meant for the business travel of girls trip . Rooftop bar is beautiful. If you are looking for old quaint Ireland go somewhere else. This is a beautiful hotel with bars / pool/gym and wonderful hotel staff"

"The property was beautiful and so was our room. However the guys that were supposed to be working outside our window for “only more 15 minutes” Showed up the next morning hammered outside our window at 8am and the following morning, causing up to close our blinds and make our room Hot with no breeze. Couldn’t even walk around comfortable to get dressed because of the workers. Garbage drug dumping bottles at 7am also. Just too loud. I will say the food at the restaurant was exceptional "

"Easy check in, public parking up the street, and a two minute walk to the center of Galway. Delicious coffee shop next door. This is the perfect spot for a family! Be sure to book the family suite (2 bedrooms) which is a rare gem of a find! We will be back."
