"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"Seven minute walk from the train station. Seven minute walk to downtown this bed-and-breakfast is in a neighborhood very safe. The owner is incredibly nice. If you like a bed-and-breakfast experience, you’ll love this. The only problem we had was the showerhead wasn’t working, but the hands sprayer worked just fine. "

"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel with my family. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The best part was the great location easy walking distance to main centre of York, close to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. Breakfast was also fresh and delicious with a great choice for my fussy teenagers. Plus point is free parking at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.”"

Breakfast was excellent. Christina, our breakfast waitress was outstanding. Lots of breakfast choices. The breakfast room was very nice and the table in the window bay was special.
Our room was spacious, and the kitchen amenities were complete. There was a small table where we could sit looking on the back garden. The bathroom was also spacious and well done. The decor in the condition of everything was amazing given the age of the building....
