"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"It truly was a gem for us. The home was bright, airy, and spotless. The kitchen was so well-organized that we never had to wonder where anything was. We spent most of our indoor time in the kitchen and dining area — the large table was perfect for meals, games, and activities.Mary was exceptionally responsive and quickly sorted out the minor issues we faced upon arrival (we came during Storm Amy, so there were a few temporary electricity and water disruptions). "Words cannot express how wonderful this cottage and our stay was! The cottage and the surrounding area are beautiful. (We absolutely loved the kitchen and the views). Our host Liam gave excellent recommendations; we loved horseback riding on the beach and hiking Diamond Hill. The beaches are a must see! Guys Bar in the downtown area had great food and servers. We miss being there and hope to return in the future."

"Nice bungalow. Problem with oven door which was a pity but I’m sure it will be replaced. Spacious bungalow with plenty of room for the five of us. Lovely views and great location for exploring - we have been coming to the area for fifty years so we didn’t need to venture far anyway. Clifden/Kylmore/Cleggan all within 20/30 mins drive. Good communication with the host and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and book again !!"

"Enjoyed our short stay at this warm and cozy cottage. Well equipped kitchen, if you aren’t eating out all the time as we were. The grounds and cottage are lovely for a perfect trip to Clifden and Connemara. Wi-Fi excellent and didn’t expect it to be so good in the remoteness and hillside surroundings. "

"This little Cabin is so cosy, clean and well equipped. A lovely welcome was the fruitbowl, bread and water. We had a wonderful 10 days stay. A walk into Clifden needs about 10/15 minutes, by car 5 minutes. Free parking under the Supervalu shop. Nice restaurants with good food and drinks. Very friendly people. There a many good roads for exploring the surroundings by car or for walks. A trip to Galway by bus (Citylink) is not expensive an so easy to relax without your own car.We enjoyed our time...

"Ein einmalig schönes und geräumiges Haus mit schönen Zimmern, toller Küche samt Ausstattung (zerkratze Pfanne wurde umgehend ersetzt) und super Wohnzimmer. Absolut geeignet für eine große Familie oder Freundeskreise. Vom Haus hat man einen direkten Blick auf das Wasser und die gegenüberliegenden Halbinseln Camus und Rosmuck. Der Bruder der Vermieterin wohnt nebenan und ist super hilfsbereit, sogar mit einer kleine Reparatur am Auto konnte er uns weiterhelfen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt....

"What a home… the view, the space, the location are all stunning. John made the check in incredibly simple and was kind enough to drop by the next day to welcome us. If you’re looking for (somewhat) remote tranquility on a stunning Irish peninsula, stop scrolling. For the very reasonable price John charges, you won’t find better. I promise you! Clean, spacious, well equipped and PLENTY to do within a short drive, you have it all in this lovely home and area."
