Spacious 2 Story Modern Industrial Farmhouse Getaway - Great Cleveland Location

Recently renovated, peaceful retreat just minutes from downtown CLE, Chagrin Falls and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Affectionately dubbed "The Wayback", this custom renovated guest house sleeps 6 with 2 private bedrooms, a first and second floor living space, spa like bath with tank-less hot water system and separate water closet, fully equipped kitchen, heated slate floors and many other upscale amenities. All located in beautiful wooded surroundings with furnished covered porch & back patio.

The covered side porch is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee or taking in the sunset. The large back patio provides a park-like atmosphere for outdoor dining and includes a master grill and slate dining table with market umbrella and seating for 6. Our cozy bedrooms have a queen size bed, dresser, full closet and wall mounted flat panel television. There is also room for 2-4 more in a semi-private common space with 2 full size daybeds; adjacent to the second bedroom. Luxury bath with separate water closet, full size vessel tub and large 4'x6' shower. Each floor has a desk/work area with and external monitor and desk lamp, and the upstairs workspace includes a laser printer. The full kitchen includes a 5 burner gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee & keurig machine, dining table for 8, butcher block countertops and all your cooking essentials. The entry/mudroom, houses a full size front loading washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board for your convenience.

The entire rental home, side porch and back patio/yard area are included in this rental. An easily accessible multipurpose trail runs through the front of the property and throughout the neighborhood, including a direct, one mile walk to Pinecrest's mixed use development with Whole Foods, REI, Silverspot Cinema, Kitchen Social and a multitude of additional high-end retailers, spa service providers, restaurants and boutique style shops.

Please review all staircase photos. This is a custom built, architectural handrail. The majority of the staircase and second floor landing are open to the stairs and floor below, which may not be safe or a good fit for young children, especially if left unattended. For this reason, please use your own discretion when determining whether or not you feel this home is a good fit for you and your family prior to booking. Please be aware that while this home has complete and total privacy for its guests, it is a guest house and does sit on the back portion of acreage that belongs to the owner, therefore the front portion of the driveway is shared.

We stayed for our wedding at the Pincrest Plaza and it was the best decision we made. Tons of room and was absolutely beautiful! Oh and that bathroom… amazing. Would definitely stay again if I am ever in the area again!

Very nice accomodations. Very cozy and clean and the perfect size for our family of 4. Conveniently located to Cleveland, Cuyahoga Valley, and Kirtland which we were visiting as well as grocery stores and restaurants. Renovated barn is located behind owner's house, but is still very private.

Very recent remodel, thoughtfully designed and furnished throughout. Both private and very comfortable. When we find ourselves planning to be back in the Cleveland area, we will definitely check availability for the Wayback first.

We had an amazing 4 night stay here. The location was perfect. It is within a nice, quiet neighborhood with shopping and restaurants close by. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Owner has great communication and gave us all required information before our stay, which made check-in and check-out a breeze. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in town!

This is one of my favorite rentals I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful inside with a kitchen very well stocked, more so than usual. Comfortable furniture. Backyard was right up against a forested area and very beautiful. Deer and bunnies were seen daily. Loved it! The host even gave suggestions for things to do. I could definitely tell the host really cares about this place.

Wow!! If you are looking for a private relaxing charming rental this is it!! Laura has thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible! Bonus to this darling house is the wild life running around playing. We could have sat for hours watching the baby deer jump around. Location is absolutely perfect! I look forward to returning to this slice of heaven!

The Wayback was perfect for our Ohio visit with family both in Mentor and Wadsworth and friends in between. The house is so well stocked and maintained very well. Furniture was beautiful and comfortable and the house was spotless. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next Ohio visit.

My family and I were traveling to the Cleveland area so we could visit both the city and Chagrin Falls (where I grew up - and my kids had never been). After doing some searches, we landed on The Way Back. It was a great choice. The first thing we noticed as we got in was just how immaculately clean the house was. My wife, who is a huge stickler about that even commented how she couldn’t believe how nice it was. The house itself is very well appointed and has all of the conveniences. There are plenty of shops and restaurants near by should you need anything, it it was a quick drive to downtown Cleveland and Chagrin Falls (which is where we spent the bulk of our time). While the house is on the host’s property, it feels very private. The house is very spacious, the beds are comfortable, and its interior is beautiful. Essentially, it is an ideal place for a weekend trip, or a longer stay. The host (Laura) was great at communication, and I highly recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in the southeast Cleveland area. There are four of us - so 8 thumbs up!

My husband and I stayed at The Wayback guest house for 11 days while I was recovering from surgery, and it was the absolute perfect place to stay! The location can’t be beat… it’s close to Whole Foods and grocery stores, Target, shopping malls and centers, and restaurants. The Wayback is set behind the main house of the hosts… but it feels like you’re staying out in the woods with all the space and nature around it. It’s super private and quiet, and, the inside has been completely updated and renovated, and is clean and comfortable. The downstairs is compact but super functional with the kitchen, dining area, and TV area. The upstairs is cozy with two bedrooms and another tv area. We were also able to stay connected to work as there are two workstations. But the best part of the stay was the host, Laura. She was super helpful, friendly, accommodating, and respectful of our privacy. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay at The Wayback again.

We spent four nights with two of our grand children. It was a great location and an easy walk to a local park made our time fun. Everything was clean and well appointed, and our granddaughters loved sleeping in the alcove beds! We would stay here again.

When we first arrived I was super impressed with how clean everything was. Super cozy and warm. Well appointed kitchen, with pretty much everything we needed. Great for hosting a few family members for dinner. Host was super accommodating with our baby and set up a crib for us in advance. The crib was clean and in good condition. The property is very quiet - we saw a deer the night we checked in and enjoyed the peace and quiet every day of our stay. The narrow driveway is a little tricky to turn around, but was expected. Bedding, linens, and towels were well-stocked and super comfortable. Spaces to hook up laptops with monitors and power were very helpful. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Perfect for a family reunion for our mom’s birthday. Thoughtfully designed and appointed with little extras that really made us feel welcome. Will definitely rent this property again. Owner was very easy to communicate with and responsive with the few questions we had. Highly recommend this property.
