The space
Welcome Hideaway and Sitting Space:
Enter into a welcoming area, take off your shoes, and be greeted by a mix of vintage and modern decor with thoughtful touches that will make your stay memorable. I've created a space that blends modern elegance with a touch of bohemian charm ensuring a cozy and inviting ambiance for all guests. To your right, is a 65" smart tv loaded with all your streaming needs, and a stylish comfortable couch with plenty of sitting room. Relax in the living area after a long days journey and enjoy snuggling up under one of our complimentary throw blankets while watching your favorite show, series or movie.

The building itself looks rough on the outside. Many steps to enter the apartment. Everything about this stay was on point. Ultra clean everywhere! Great communication with host. Modern decor, extracurriculars to play for staying inside. Located on the main drag, with easy access to the city. Ubers are readily available. Wonderful coffee and donuts across the street at Goldie's but get there before they sell out; because they will!!! I will definitely stay here again for any trip we need to Cleveland!

I have to admit that at first it was a little scary from the outside, but inside was exactly as advertised. All the rooms were great, the shared spaces were great. The pool table was a bit un level and hard to hit the cue in spots but we had fun. Plenty activities for all, games, internet TV etc. Kitchen well equipped and snacks and coffee provided. There were many places to eat very close and the Market was walkable and amazing. We highly recommend this place.

Apartment was nice and clean and well laid out. The pool table is a nice touch and we did like the older feel combined with newer furnishings. The location is close to all of Cleveland's tourist destinations and there is off street parking available. The neighborhood can be a touch loud at night but nothing unbearable. The locks on the doors can be a little tough to engage but do work well. Overall a pleasant experience and a good place to rest your head after seeing the city.

We were in town for a Graduation and found this upstairs apartment in Ohio City. It was unassuming from the outside but a gem of a find inside. The place has been remodeled and modern. The listing is accurate and had everything we needed to be comfortable for the weekend and even have some meals at home. We had 3 adults and it was more than we even needed. It is close to shopping and dining and has many options in the same block. I would definitely stay here again for a weekend in Cleveland.

I recently stayed for a week at the Haven Hideaway while working remotely and visiting family. The apartment was clean with fun furnishings. Even though the apartment was located on a busy street, it was quiet at night, and I enjoyed a good night's sleep on a very comfortable king-sized bed with soft sheets. The apartment's location in Ohio City allowed me to enjoy several tasty restaurants within walking distance. I was able to safely park my car on the street in front of the apartment on the weekends and on a neighboring street during the week. There was also a parking space directly behind the apartment but not being a "city girl" I was hesitant to use it due to having to maneuver along a narrow street. Finally, I appreciate the host's timely communications and clear instructions about the apartment.

Phillip, the host, is absolutely amazing! He was quick to answer any questions and helped guide where we needed to go. The property is absolutely beautiful. CLEAN!! And smelled amazing. He provided snacks, coffee and tea! I’ve stayed many places but this was is at the top of my list!

This is a dedicated VRBO space that is well-decorated and supplied. Great location for us, within walking distance to restaurants. Host was quite accommodating and quick to respond to any of our questions. We’d return here in the future.

Great experience from start to finish. Philip always responded quickly and provided us with snacks. The check in process was smooth and parking was available on site and on the street. The apartment was clean and everything was in good working condition. A nice, open living room area was perfect for hanging out and an excellent barbecue restaurant just downstairs.

We had a wonderful stay at the property and would definately rebook if we head up to do the sights of Cleveland again! Very close to R&R museum, West side market and a really cool find- the Bop Stop ( small local jazz venue). Within 2 block walk of BBQ and bakeries (nice find!) We did see several micro breweries and restaraunts a short drive away. The neighborhood and building look historic, but the apartment is wonderful inside! Very clean, nicely laid out and all the amenities of home (plus thoughtful assortment of snacks and coffee drinks from our host) We did not use backyard, but there is a cozy open air porch, firepit and patio furniture. Finally, shout out to our exceptional host, Phillip! He was prompt to respond to any question and checked in a couple times to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible.

The apartment is comfortable and attractively decorated with great attention to detail. The amenities are impressive, including effective AC, a dishwasher, an air fryer, in-unit laundry, an huge walk-in closet, and a ceiling light Bluetooth speaker. Everything was easy and convenient. This was amazing. We have stayed in other places similar to this but never as amazing. It’s a city paradise on the 2nd floor of an older building. We were greeted with a kind note, well lit rooms, and all the space we desired. You walk in to see a cozy chair, amazing record player on top of a bar. The pool/ping pong table was the hit for our kids. They spent most of our free time playing pool and cards. The living room has a huge tv, leather sofa, and a cozy blanket I didn’t want to give up. Our kids stayed in a cozy bedroom with a queen bunk bed, cozy sleeper sofa, and a little arcade. My daughter slept on the bottom bunk and loved the touch of hanging lights near her bed. The closets in all rooms were more than ample. The bathroom has a ceiling light with Bluetooth speaker. The master bedroom had a king/queen bed with a foam mattress. The lighting in that bedroom is perfect. You could adjust the brightness next to your bed. The closet was the size of a small room. If I could only have that closet at home. Then you had a laundry room fully stocked which led to the back of the complex and yard. I saw a grill, outdoor seating area, and lots of flowers from the shrubbery coming down. The kitchen was fully stock. There were chips, chocolates, protein bars, items for s’mores, rice a roni cups, popsicles, iced coffee, a nespresso machine with frother, etc. There were all the necessary kitchen items PLUS! Our host was very sweet and kind. I’d stay here again anytime. Such a gem!
