Duck Island Getaway - Close to Downtown and West Side Market

  • This upstairs apartment is in the middle of it all! Duck Island is a unique part of Tremont, with easy access to Ohio City and Downtown Cleveland. You can walk, bike and scooter to all of the most exciting Cleveland restaurants, bars, and venues. If you love the outdoors, you'll have amazing access to an extensive trail system, parks and sandy beaches.
    This upstairs apartment was recently renovated. It was furnished with high end furniture and stylish decor.

    This beautiful private apartment was newly renovated to be stylish, clean and most importantly, comfortable. It is on the entire 2nd floor of a duplex, with a private entrance. The master bedroom is huge, featuring a walk in closet, king size bed and TV. The second bedroom has a full size bed and armoire. Enjoy cooking in the clean modern kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, and eat at the butcher block dining table. There is an ensuite washer and dryer outside of the bathroom for your convenience.

    This apartment is on the entire 2nd floor of a duplex. It has a private entrance at the front of the building. You will be given a code to enter with an electronic keypad.

    The downstairs unit is owner occupied. This apartment is not for partying. If you want to "let your hair down", do it in our local bars, and then safely walk back for a good night's sleep.

This location is EXCELLENT for getting to the market and restaurants downtown. And over the bridge to the baseball diamond (we did not go, but could have!) So walkable, kids playing basketball, families walking babies in strollers…so safe and clean. No clocks, so a true vacation vibe! Highly recommend!

This spot is in a GREAT location. So close to the West Side Market & Tremont. Many great restaurants, Brew Pubs and amazing merchants at the West Side Market.The host was excellent and the apartment had so many thoughtful touches it made the stay that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be back. Thanks so much!

On street parking was easy. Neighborhood is a little older. The stairs leading to the unit are steep so use caution. Our only complaint is we were traveling with a toddler and the floors and doors squeak, which caused her to awaken when sleeping. Also keep in mind this unit only has 1 bathroom that isnt attached to the master

Modern apartment, great hosts, near Westside Market and Breweries

Matt and Bronwyn were thoughtful hosts with a spacious, private second story apartment. The place is located just a few minutes (by foot) from the Westside Market and lots of restaurants. The place was clean, well equipped and comfortable!

House located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, with a great central location to all of our excursions! The house was clean, had everything we needed, and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again if in the Cleveland area!

Immediately upon walking in, my family felt a sense of home. What a cozy, clean, and comfortable stay! Everything we needed and more. Plenty of room, very comfortable beds, and lots of amenities. I highly recommend this property and especially loved how close it was to Forest City Brewery, The West Side Market, and downtown. We walked almost everywhere. Lovely neighborhood and no problem parking. I hope to visit again!

Cleveland Visit

Our stay at the Duck Island Getaway was amazing. The VRBO was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was safe, welcoming and within walking distance to many great restaurants, shops, West Side Market and is a short drive to downtown. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay and we will certainly stay here again when we come back to Cleveland.

Cleveland Getaway

Very pleased with the cleanliness, size and layout. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and see. It was a girls getaway trip from Chicago to check out the Rock n Roll hall of Fame & Cleveland's neighborhoods. Would stay here again!!

Highly recommend this property. Super clean and great location to Ohio City for walking to West Side Market and local restaurants and breweries. RTA is very close to take train into downtown. Host was very responsive to questions I had before our trip. We will definitely stay here again when coming back to the area

Perfect Location for Food, Fun, and Sports

This was the perfect spot for our visit to Cleveland to see the Guardians, take in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and enjoy the Ohio City area. The place was super comfortable, clean, and roomy. Very accommodating for leisure and business travel. Well-equipped kitchen, which we didn’t use much because we enjoyed the area bars and restaurants so much! Nice to have West Side Market a short walk away. Great place.

Very comfortable and inviting

My mother and I needed a nice place to stay for one night while in town for an appointment. We were very pleased with this nice apartment. The host was quick to reply to any questions we had prior to us arriving. Everything about this place was warm and inviting! We will definitely stay here again, if it is available, the next time we are in the area .

Great 2nd floor place

My husband, two teenage sons and I stayed here. We were in town for a volleyball tournament at Huntington Convention Center. Perfect location as it was a 8 minute drive! Duck Island Getaway was clean and had many comforts of home! Neighborhood was safe and many options for dinner! So glad we made the choice to stay here and not a hotel! We would definitely stay again!
