"Amazingly friendly welcome. Heading up to the room through a fog of cigarette smoke did not bode well, but, happily, the room was immaculate. Service was second to none. Free parking in market square roght outside the hotel was a great bonus. Will definitely return to The Leven. "

"The staff were so friendly and keen to make everything perfect. The room was great. The food was excellent. I had really great dinners and breakfast was delicious start to day. "I have to admit that, in my case, I didn’t enjoy at all. Staff is so inflexible, I was in a business trip. Impossible to get a cold sandwich after 9pm (arrived at 9:07) no other options in town except an Indian. The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different. The rooms are fine but too many steps and a bit caotic "
