The property was in a very convenient location to walking paths and on the golf course. The home has a nice floorplan and good finishes, but is in need of some touch up maintenance and solid cleaning from vacation rental tenants. The kitchen was could have been better stocked with items like whisks or baking sheets, but we made due for Thanksgiving dinner. The hot tub was nice and the game room in the garage kept the kids and adults entertained. We had trouble with the televisions - the on screen guide kept telling us it was October 5th at 3 am and would ask for parental codes when we would switch to innocuous channels. When the front desk contacted the owner, they said that was to block adult and pay content, but that did not seem to be the case so we were stuck watching sports mostly on the large TV's while the kids watched Netflix on their tablets.
The home was also not stocked with dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, garbage bags, paper towels or toilet paper for its size, so we regularly had to call the front desk for replenishments. They responded only about half the time and when they did, would only bring enough to last a day. We finally went to the store and bought paper towels and toilet paper so we wouldn't run out.
While Suncadia had lots of great amenities to enjoy, we were only able to secure one pool reservation while we were there and they limit guests to one reservation per day and each reservation to four guests, so not all the kids got to even swim. This seems like an unusual limitation when the vacation homes usually sleep well over four. Very much looking forward to being past COVID someday soon, but just something to keep in mind if you are looking to take advantage of the amenities during your stay.
