Mowita seaside flat with stunning view on the sea

At 10 mts from the beach, on the seafront pedestrian, "Mowita" flat has a stunning view on the sea and you can hear the sound of the waves just sitting on the sofa or lying in the bed! At 2 mns walking from the railway station and parking area and 8 mns walking from the port of Civitavecchia. Restaurants, bars, pizzerias are just down the road. Ideal for a seaside holiday, to visit Rome, and for pre- and post-cruise stay.
"Mowita" is the first floor of a very nice four-storey building equipped with a large lift.

The flat has one bedroom with king size bed, memory foam mattress and memory foam pillows. The sitting room features a convertible sofa in a king size bed in an easy movement. Full linen included.

In the sitting room there is a TV with flat screen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and tableware. Tea and coffee making facilities are available to prepare your breakfast. Orange juice, teas & herbal teas, coffee, jams and honey. Dish soap and household cleaning products and tools are available as well as ironing facilities and a drying rack.

The bathroom features a sink, the toilet, the bidet and the shower and is equipped with towels, soaps, shampoo, shower gel, and hairdryer.

Rome lies at 60 kms, 40 mns by train, so you can dive into the hustle bustle of the city and back home where you can relax in front of the beautiful sunset have an evening refreshing swim! We can cook with special Italian dinner accompanied with great Italian wines, that you can enjoy comfortable and private space of your flat.
Besides, Civitavecchia is nestled in the old Etruscan territory so suggestive archeological sites (Tarquinia and Cerveteri) are just 15/30 mns driving from the house. Many beautiful and off-the-beaten historical and natural monuments are scattered in the territory around Civitavecchia. The natural park of Tolfa - at 10 mns driving - is an area of outstanding natural beauty with its wild horses, foxes, wild boars, owls, jays, hoopoes and several kinds of birds of prey.

Wonderful in Every Way

We had a wonderful time staying at Mowita! It’s a charming flat on the boardwalk with so many fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Our Host Marili takes every need and want into consideration and made us feel totally at home. We can say enough about how wonderful our stay was. We will visit again!

Great location. Flat has everything you need. The host was absolutely wonderful! She took us on a day trip to several treasures of places and her communication from booking through departure was over the top. We had a medical emergency during our stay and she came to the hospital to help out with language and comfort. Wish I could have given 10 stars instead of 5. Highly recommend this property.

Warm hospitality + beautiful ocean view

Hosts are kind, friendly, quick to respond to questions, helpful, provide recommendations, and offer extra services and unique experiences. Location is close to the train station, is near several restaurants, and you cannot beat the view in Civitavecchia. We hope to stay again.

Remarkable!!

Marilì and Marco were phenomenal hosts! The flat is perfect for 2 people and is cozy and so cute. The hot springs tour was so much fun and having Marilì and Marco was so helpful with the language barrier. They were both so friendly and made us feel like family! We will be booking with her again!

Exceeded expectations!

The best kept secret in Italy, our hostess was the best she showed us all around villages around Rome. White Glove service from the time she picked us up at the airport till we arrived at her beautiful flat, and yes the pictures were 1000 percent accurate. If you are planning a cruise this is the perfect spot!

Perfect host

The hospitality of Marili was incredible. The view of the Mediterranean was breathtaking . Marili stocked the kitchen with breakfast food, snacks and drinks. She really went out if her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked a return stay!

Excellent stay and wonderful service. Everything was exactly as shown and promised and Marili was an excellent host. From seamless airport pickup, touring various points of interest and dropping is off at the port, she was an outstanding host and person. Bed was very comfortable and location. Quite beautiful. Wow! What a fabulous experience. Our host, Marili was so amazing! Her communication was spot on. She was so friendly from our first interaction and continued through our last. She transported us from the airport to the flat. We then enjoyed an authentic home cooked meal in her home. Wow! The view from the flat is beyond anything we could have imagined, with a small balcony where we sat and enjoyed the Italian chatter from the restaurants below. The bed was so comfortable as we navigated the time change. We highly recommend this property. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

A Perfect Location

Great location with Beautiful views of the sea. Everything from initial contact to arrival at the flat to departure was flawlessly organized and completely worry-free. Owner/Host Marili was very nice and sweet and went above and beyond every expectation to ensure our complete satisfaction. We felt so comfortable with her as if we had known her for years- just like family. The Restaurant Osteria Del Prigo is right outside the entry and had great seafood with large portions at a good price. Avoid Pirgo Cafe which is nearby. I highly recommend this Flat and would stay here again and again.

Sister Trip

Marilli was a great host. From the moment she picked us up from the airport and took us to experience some local sights, we knew this would be a great trip. We enjoyed wine and an authentic dinner at her home with her husband, who made homemade bolognese sauce. Marilli also took us to experience the local market and the most delicious lunch. Then took us to the port to continue our Mediterranean cruise.
