"Amazing hospitality and service was shown to us during our stay here, this place had a real sense of home comfort. Tastefully decorated and a genuine cave hotel, really enjoyed our short stay as the area is quiet. The complimentary breakfast that was prepared was delicious and healthy, first experience of a turkish breakfast - please tip for this to show appreciation for it as it was freshly prepared. Only downside is that it is hard to get around if you dont have a car or arent prepared to...

"The decor of the rooms was lovely, and rooms were very large and comfortable. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfasts were great. However, there was a lack of attention to details such as the dead bolt on the room door didn’t work, and the bathroom door didn’t shut completely. Also, we found the rooms quite noisy from other visitors talking in the hallways and lobby at night."

The stay at Upper Greek House was superb and the dinners at his other property just down the hill were delicious. The town is cute-- much better that Goreme. It is also centrally located to all the site. It is no wonder Rick Steve's has this in his book."

"Ahiyan Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. First, it is easy to drive to and parking is right up front. Then the greeting we received was lovely. The area was explained to us and options were presented for things to do. The room itself was extremely spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect firmness. The shower was excellent- big pet peeve of my husband- his favorite shower of our one month trip to Turkey. Most of all the people who run the hotel are exceptional and go out of their way...
