"For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary."

"Fantastiskt !!! Allt var super. Trevlig personal, som var otroligt tillmötesgående och professionella. Maten var toppkvalitet. Vi åt både middag och frukost på hotellet och det var 5 star. Spa avdelningen med infinitypool var supermysig. Kan varmt rekommendera hotellet och kommer jag tillbaka till Kenmare kommer jag boka samma igen. Ren lyx. "

"This is such a gem! Cute boutique style hotel that kept is charm but has been updated in the past 5 years (i think 2021) and it is beautiful. Staff is so helpful and pointed out great stores, restaurants, and pubs. They are on the corner of the walkable shopping district (so not in the chaos but easy to go have fun) and only a 5 minute walk to a lovely little park with walking trail. Surprised how much i feel in love with this place. "

"Hotel staff very professional, friendly and helpful. Our room (Executive with king bed) was very comfortable and spacious. Note that there are no elevators/lifts at the hotel so if you have trouble managing stairs, reserve a ground floor room. However the staff carried our largest luggage up and down the stairs for us. "We had a wonderful 2 day stay at Booklane. They bring you complimentary Coffe or tea upon request!! We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Free parking at hotel as well. The staff is absolutely fantastic! The town a Kenmare is lovely with wonderful restaurants. Next I’ll stay longer."

"We loved this hotel as a place to stay in Co Kerry. It’s conveniently located with an easy walk into the city centre. The hotel has great amenities, like a pool and spa, and the staff are very helpful."

"The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed using the pool before breakfast when it wasn't busy.
We felt there wasn't enough social space to sit and have a coffee and chat with other guests. There also seemed to be a problem with the courtyard bar which wasn't open during our stay."
