"Had a great stay last week at Hotel Metropol. The location (<5 mins from the main station,) worked great for us as we travelled both in Munich and further afield.
The staff in the hotel (reception and breakfast room) were always friendly and helpful, making sure we had what we needed.
Our room was spacious and well equipped, having the balcony meant we could sit out and even leave the door open overnight (it was hot last week).
If returning to Munich Hotel Metropol would definitely be somewhere...

"We stayed in two rooms. One room had no air conditioning on the first night, so we were moved. The following night, both rooms had no air conditioning. The hotel provided fans, but with the heat this was uncomfortable, especially for our children. One of the replacement rooms also had a strong sewage odor in the bathroom. Some of their staff made it as though asking for assistance was an inconvenience. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests.
