Over the Rhine, or OTR as it`s known by locals, is a neighborhood in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Bustling with the city`s hottest bars, restaurants, and retail, visitors to this vibrant neighborhood are able to experience the best of Cincinnati, all within a few blocks.



Be sure to check out a few of Cincinnati`s top local breweries, and snack your way through Findlay Market, one of America`s oldest outdoor markets. When you`ve had your fill, be sure to take in Washington Park, and enjoy the stunning facade of Music Hall.



With new businesses opening at every turn, there`s always something new to see in Over the Rhine!



Parking is available on-street or in a local garage.



On-Street: There are several nearby locations that allow for overnight parking, but please be mindful of signage. Vine Street is normally a good option. **Do NOT park on Republic Street as it is all permit parking and the city will ticket.



Garage: There are two parking garages within walking distance.

-Mercer Parking Garage -located at 5 Mercer Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202.

-Washington Street Parking Garage located at 1310 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202.



If you plan on parking your car for your stay, we recommend Uber or Lyft! We are a very short walk to many great bars, restaurants and coffee shops!



Parking -

Parking for The Color House OTR is all on street. There are several locations that allow for parking overnight but just be mindful of the signage. Republic St is all permit parking and the city will ticket. Mercer Parking Garage and Washington Parking Garage are both within walking distance to the unit.



Check Out -

Check out is by 11am daily. We ask that put the dishes in the dishwasher, add a detergent packet and start on the normal wash setting. Take out the trash and place the key back in the assigned lockbox. We will handle everything else!



PLEASE NOTE: Your that the number of people in the at any time MUST match the number people on the reservation.

Super Cute

This property was just as expected! Very cozy and comfortable. The interior was clean and the decorations were well thought out. The bed was stiff, but my husband loved it!

Cute spot to lay your head, but disappointing outside noise

Great communication and directions. Place was very clean and super adorable. Furniture is not comfortable at all and the road noise at night is loud and obnoxious, you get some sidewalk noise and either a garage door or some kind of garbage chute at all hours of the night. Overall I’d give it an 8/10 and that’s only because of the uncontrollables. Also, AC didn’t seem to cool the bedroom. It was very warm and uncomfortable all night.

Nice place for 2.

You can definitely tell the owner of this apartment put a lot of thought into the decor. Overall, it was pretty clean, I just had to hand wash the few dishes we used. I dislike that the location & neighborhood are asked to reviewed on here as the same catagory, but that's because the neighborhood was pretty loud at night with blaring music and a few people screaming on the streets (the bedroom is on the first floor by the sidewalk, so you can hear everything outside), but the location was perfect; It seemed like we were close/in the middle of everything, which is exactly what we were looking for & needed. Communication from the property manager/owner was excellent! They were constantly in contact when anything was needed & check-in/check-out were very simple. I will say, the furniture was extremely uncomfortable & hard to chill out and relax on. But, it made due. We also had access to many different streaming services on the TV here, which was nice for when we stayed in. Loved the king sized bed.

Cozy and welcoming

The tones and colors of the stay are warming upon entering. Tons of comfort provided from the host in the furniture and bedding. Location is extremely convenient. Would definitely stay again!
