Made a short trip here with some friends for my anniversary, the property was way nicer and cleaner than expected! Was very easy to get in contact with them to let them know we were running late, loved how he gave us his restaurant recommendations. Will definitely go back again when we go stay in Cincinnati!

My partner & I stayed here for our 1st anniversary. This lovely house was great for us! Within a short drive of everything we wanted, including the zoo, aquarium, and BB Cruises. We enjoyed the hot tub and enclosed fence as well as the rain shower as well as the very comfortable beds. There's a full kitchen with everything you'd need to make meals (we did breakfasts here) plus Findlay Market a 5 min drive/20 min walk away. We had a gorgeous and historic place to come back to after sightseeing. This was everything we wanted in a rental for our anniversary!

We had never been in a Brownstone which was quite the experience. It's definitely in the old section of Cincinnati. The stairways going to the second floor are narrow and steep. All of us are in relatively good shape, even though we 65 and 70, but we both have friends that would not be able to get up the stairs. The neighborhood is sketchy, but we never had any issues. None of us used the Hot tub as we were there when it was very hot outside and it didn't look very inviting. There was no recycling bin and the garbage is right outside the door, in the "patio" that is maybe 10x10 fenced in that feels like you're in a cage. We traveled with a family that owns a cleaning service and was appalled at how dirty it was, to me, it was just an old property with a lot of history. We used it just to sleep at night, so it served its purpose.

Very nice place. Owners have done a nice job restoring a very old home. We had a lovely visit. Plenty of room. Close to everything in Cincinnati.

We were in town for my daughter's graduation. My mother (75) had difficulty with the stairs. It would be great if that information was included in the listing, maybe it was and I missed it? We couldn't find the green bin for recyclables. But everything else was right where it was supposed to be. The bathrooms were fantastic and the recommendations in the binder were excellent. The hot tub was unusable, the water needed to be changed, it was cloudy and smelled bad. The neighborhood was questionable but it was nice and close to everything. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Nice Place, Good Manager

Seems to be placed in a sketchy looking neighborhood, but looks were deceiving. Nothing got stolen, no late night noise. Would stay there again. Everything inside was more than adequate for our stay.

Nice place

It was a nice place. The back stairs carpet could be replaced. Christmas decorations probably need to be taking down. Front step is very wobbly. A roof over the hot tub would be nice. We enjoyed our time there.

Colerain Ave

Cool house. Built in 1893 blew us away. Good shape and clean. Very hot during our visit but air kept it comfortable. Pendant Lights in one bedroom were unable to figure out how to turn on. ?? Great locale close to stadiums and downtown. We throughly enjoyed the stay. New pillows on beds would be nice. Bathrooms were new and well done!!

Block of little house of horrors

I did not stay I found somewhere else to stay my brother's tufted it out I just couldn't. I could go on and on about what I didn't like but what's the point I would not recommend to anyone not even my enemy.

Very disappointed

The stay was ok as we only stayed for 1 night and all we did was sleep at this property. The owner accused us of stealing a decorative succulent, a bottle, a commemorative hair brush, and a bottle of febreze(almost empty) and wanted to charge me an unreasonable amount of money for these items and a shower curtain we accidentally damaged when I slipped in the tub showering and grabbed the curtain to break my fall. The curtain rings were damaged and I let the owner know before we left. We eventually settled on a reasonable amount. I would never rent this property again when I come back to Cincy to visit family. Worst VRBO experience I have ever had and I have stayed at almost a dozen properties over the past 6 years.

Wouldn’t stay again

Let me first state that this house is amazing for 20 something’s who are literally going somewhere to sleep and have a kitchen. First, the hot tub, the whole purpose of getting this house, was filthy. Did I complain to manager? No. Why? We were there for 3 nights. Second, seating in living room for a party of 5, no. We had to rotate. It was not equipped for 5 people to relax after a long day at kings island. It is a house to go to bed and check out the area for the entire day and night. So, again, great for young people to stay. Not okay for people with kids or senior adults to stay. Before the manager comes at me about the house being left messy. NO! It was left in the same condition we found it. I have the pictures to prove it. We left no dishes in sink. We put trash out in alley.(don’t get my husband started on the gate to said alley) We cleaned the kitchen counters. Tried to put the towels in the basket in the front bedroom closet. But, we couldn’t get into said closet because there was no doorknob. Again, took pics. As I said before, great for 20 something’s. Not for a family of 5 that will sit around the table and eat a meal.

The property was decent. It was Christmas in June. It was decorate for Christmas. One of the stairs had water damage. Luckily we used the 2nd staircase. The neighborhood did not seem the safest but we had no issues. We had a possum join us around a hot tub one night. That was interesting.

Enjoyable Stay with Good Location

We enjoyed our stay here and the location was great. We were able to drive to almost all of our desired attractions within 10 minutes. We were always able to find street parking. Having three bedrooms was very convenient and overall we found the home very comfortable. Our least favorite part of the property was the state of the stairs, especially those toward the back of the house, but aside from that we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we were in Cincinnati.

A great stay!

Had a wonderful time! Joshua (the owner) was accommodating to our early arrival, Mike & Bridgett (the housekeepers) were helpful and welcoming as we dropped our stuff off, and our stay was delightful! We had such a good time! Highly recommend!!

Little oasis

Area isn't the greatest and can be a little off-putting when you first arrive but had absolutely no issues at all in the 4 days stayed. Very nice house with everything you would need, including a nice little outside space at the back which was great to sit and have morning coffee or evening beer. Property manager was very attentive and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was ok which it was.
