Staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly, led by a great example from Anna, the manager. All inclusive food option amongst the best we have experienced. Property was spotless and room was of good size. Even though this was boutique hotel of only about 50 rooms, there were still day and evening activities for those who wanted to join in. Free parking was easy on a quiet rood just off the main route through Aghia Marina and outside the hotel. There is a convenient pathway from the rear of the hotel down to the main road, which about 50 yards long. Getting back up shouldn’t be an issue for anyone of average fitness with some steps then up to the pool area, though not suitable this way for anyone with mobility issues. All in all, we saw many good reviews before we booked and we were not disappointed. I can think of many so- called 5* hotel chains who could learn much from the way this hotel is run… Highly recommended!

It was a very clean place and you had everything you need to have a comfortable few days stay. Good working airconditioning, comfortable bed, a patio to relax in the sun, everyday new towel, everyday cleaning of the room and a great view over the sea (from the bedroom as well as from the front door). A lot of storage for clothes and extra’s. Also the closest beach is very close (3min by car), but there is also a swimming pool which is nice. Chania, was a short 20 drive from the hotel to get to the city center parking. Nevertheless the place could use some upgrade. For example we had 1 hot plate to cook, which heated up quite slowly. The shower and toilet were a bit outdated/older. The chair pillows on the patio were also ready for an update. The wi-fi didn’t properly reach our place. Overall a good stay and we enjoyed the area of Chania. Would recommend if you don’t need to much luxury. Overall rate: 7,5/10.

Great stay at Hotel Kriti! The hotel and room were clean, breakfast was yummy, and the staff was wonderful. The pool was nice, too - a good place to relax and cool off. The location was good - beach, Old Town, and the harbor all within walking range. The room was very quiet - almost seemed soundproof. Would definitely stay at Hotel Kriti again.
