Vacaciones en Chlorakas

We spent a week at this hotel with family and friends for a wedding. The whole week's stay was wonderful and we could not ask any more from the Aquamare. Hopefully we will all be able to return same time next year to celebrate the 1st anniversary. We have no hesitation to make recommendation. 9 out of 10. It should be 10/10 but there is no such thing as perfection!

Sincerly, it was for me and my family the worst experience in our entire life. Firstly, King Evelton is far away to be a 5 stars hotel, the hotel needs an immediate down grade to maximum 3 stars. Personal has no politeness, no sense of customer care, service is unbelievably horrible, as for example this case among so many that happened, we ask two times for the TV to be check and none shown up to fix it during the whole stay. The hotel is dirty, completely dilapidated, fresh towels provided are dirty, the list is too long... Regarding the food, disappointed again. No fresh juice as well. So disappointed, promoting such hotel as a 5 stars is in my opinion a misleading advertising which lead the customers to book the worst hotel I've ever went to, this is unacceptable. To be honest, I usually do not comment about the hotels but this time I had to, I highly do not recommend King Evelton, avoid it to all cost. I hope this will help others in the future. This Hotel is a joke!

3 nights in July for our anniversary, booked on Expedia, upgraded from a junior suite to an apartment. Rooms and staff are the real draw. Dining, especially over Shabbat, is where it stumbles. 4/5. The Good: Staff were wonderful, Sam especially. The spa was closed for renovation (we only learned on arrival), so no anniversary massage on-site. Instead of shrugging, Yiannis rang nearby resorts, found us availability at the Azia at a good price, and it was one of the best massages we've had. They turned their own gap into a win. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well stocked, with a proper kitchen (oven, microwave, utensils). No dish soap, and tap water isn't for drinking, so plan for bottled. Pool was nice and never overcrowded. Property is gated with security. Beach is a 15-18 minute walk, tough in July heat. The Bad: Shabbat dining. Come at the start of service or the food's gone, no refills. Friday night: not enough tables, staff dragging extras out by the pool, a buffet too small for the crowd, ran out of plates, then dishes. Saturday was worse. For a kosher Mehadrin hotel this is the thing to get right. And there's no vegan or vegetarian protein at all, fish only. For a wellness hotel that's a failure, not a gap. Best for kosher/Shabbat-observant families and couples. We'd return, but be careful booking a weekend until the dining is sorted, and skip July/August when Israeli summer vacation fills the hotel completely. Worth it with eyes open on the dining.
