Nestled in the Julian Alps, in the province of Udine, Sella Nevea is a mountain resort offering an unspoiled environment and a wide range of outdoor activities in every season. In winter, it is popular for downhill skiing, ski mountaineering, and snowshoeing trails, while in summer it offers spectacular scenery and numerous hiking trails.

Among the highlights is Mount Canin with the Conca Prevala (1.800-2.000 m), accessible via ski lifts and serving as the starting point for numerous hikes. Don’t miss Mount Montasio and the tour of the alpine pastures, where you’ll find excellent places to eat, such as Malga Montasio and the Brazzà Mountain Hut. Here you can purchase local products, including the famous Montasio DOP cheese, and enjoy panoramic views of the plateau.

Just 5 km from Sella Nevea, toward Chiusaforte, lies the Fontanon di Goriuda, a spectacular 80-meter waterfall that, depending on the season, roars as it plunges down. Nearby, you can have lunch at Trattoria Fontanon. Nine kilometers toward Tarvisio, the Predil Quarries offer an interesting historical and natural site to visit. A little further on is the picturesque Lake Predil, perfect for walks, picnics, and moments of relaxation surrounded by alpine nature.

Rounding out the attractions are the Julian Prealps Nature Park—which can also be explored from the Val Resia side—and the Adventure Park in Piazzale Slovena, in Sella Nevea, which is ideal for families and visitors of all ages.



To easily reach your accommodations and make the most of all the area’s main attractions, we recommend traveling by car: you can rent one directly at the airport or in the main neighboring cities.



If you arrive by car, you can park for free in the outdoor lot in front of the apartment building.
