Brand new (2019) luxury one bedroom & ensuite in the heart of the Cotswolds

Finished to a very high standard with exposed beams and wood burner. Open plan kitchen/lounge with Island, separate air conditioned bedroom with walk in shower and bath. Separate WC, parking and garden.
Ideally situated in the heart of the village within walking distance of 3 pubs, beautiful countryside walks and within easy access of the Cotswold towns of Burford, Stow and Bourton.
The space
Set in the grounds of Mulberry barn (Please see my other listing) and sectioned off from the main house with its own entrance door.
Perfect for couples but can accommodate a travel for for infants.
Open Plan kitchen/Living area with wood burner and 50 inch flat screen TV
Fully equipped Kitchen with Island for dining. Oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge Freezer, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine.
Separate WC/Cloak room
Bedroom with King size bed, flat screen TV, Wardrobe and drawer space, leading to ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and bathtub.
All towels and bedding provided.
Outside private garden with table and chairs.
Parking for one vehicle.
The picturesque village of Shipton-Under-Wychwood sits on the edge of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our holiday lodge is perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds with Blenheim Palace, the Cotswold Wild Life Park
and the historic towns of Burford, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold and Bibury nearby.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by historical sites and beautiful countryside through which our guests can walk or cycle.
The village is on the Oxfordshire Way footpath and boasts over 100 miles of trails through picturesque villages and ancient woodland.
If all that sounds like hard work, wander down to one of 3 local pubs all within a 5 minute walk or cozy up next to the log burner.
Guest access
Guests can access the annex via their own front door. The annex is set away from the house. We mainly live in the main house (see pictures) and we share the driveway with guests. If we are around we are happy to assist guests with any requirements and helpful information.
The main house may also be let out to guests during your stay but apart from sharing the drive, the annex is yours to yourselves!

Absolutely perfect in everyway from the prvate easy access parking the very much appreciated drinks in the fridge, the cleanliness!! Beautiful accommodation really quiet area Great condition and even has air con in the Bedroom. Which was a game changer as it was in the late 20s when we were there There was even a time when the host Chris got in contact with us when we were out and about . To let us know that they had been a power cut in the area. But because they have their own generator that we would be ok . Just to reset our alarms . ( pure class) Will definitely return

Absolutely perfect

My husband I spent six nights and loved every minute of our stay. Welcoming hosts and a completely homelike environment greeted us. Immaculate and well-equipped we were able to make ourselves at home. The setting is lovely and we found ourselves well-situated to visit The Cotswolds in depth.

Great Cotswold stay

A really nice stand alone holiday place with separate bedroom, nice bathroom and extra toilet. Full kitchen if you want to cook.Located in a very pretty village but not touristy. Easy walk to two nice pubs for evening meals.Great hosts.The property was very clean and well maintained.

State Of The Art Cotswold Comfort

A superb purpose-built cottage in the middle of the sleepy Cotswold countryside, we relaxed and luxuriated amid all the mod cons that included electric blinds, heated floors, large television and generous lounges. We loved every moment of our stay, driving to picturesque villages and warming our hands by the fire. Our hosts Chris & Liz were both helpful and charming; we look forward to returning for another visit.

Beautiful Annex. Village and surroundings

The Annex is absolutely stunning, clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. Chris and Liz are warm and friendly hosts who are available if you need anything and have put together a lovely environment to stay. Perfect stay, the property is well located and quiet. Completed to a very high standard, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return any time in the area. Perfection in the Cotswolds

We adored this spacious, well-appointed lovely cottage. Chris and Liz are lovely owners, perfectly communicating the best of the local sites and pubs. The village is small and quiet, but an easy jump off point for much of the Cotswolds. The great AC in the bedroom is a plus in warmer weather, and we look forward to another stay in the cool time to take advantage of the fire stove. It’s hard to describe how quaint and wonderful the Annex is!

Ein rundum liebevoll ausgestattetes Häuschen mit allem Komfort und einem sehr freundlichen Gastgeberpaar in einer wunderschönen dörflichen Gegend Englands hat uns einen Traumurlaub beschert. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Tag bestens umsorgt, von gekühlten Begrüßungsgetränken wie Prosecco, Bier und frischer Milch, kleinen Naschereien, vielen liebevoll ausgewählten Tipps für das heimelig ausgestattete Häuschen mit all seinen Komfort-Features über Empfehlungen zu Wanderungen in die Umgebung bis zu den vielfältigen Angeboten an Restaurants, Ausflugszielen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und in Nachbarorten. Vom ersten Tag fühlten wir uns wie zuhause und hatten wegen der vielen Unternehmungen fast zu wenig Zeit, unser kleines Schloss zu genießen. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße nochmals an Liz un Chris! Ihr habt dort ein kleines Juwel geschaffen, das wir bestimmt noch öfter besuchen kommen.

Hidden Gem

If you ever visit the Cotswolds this cottage is the perfect place to stay. The location is within walking distance from a few excellent pubs in the village of Shipton Under Wychwood. This cottage is immaculate and you will find everything you need. The welcome package was over the top. The hosts Liz & Chris are wonderful people.
