"Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic."

"The house itself is really nice - very cozy, clean and comfy and the neighborhood is quiet. Easy access to things to do and to Assateague Island. I thought the info about the view was misleading, however. While I could see the lighthouse through a break in the trees, there was absolutely no view of the Assateague channel or way to access it as part of the experience. "We enjoyed our stay in this tiny house! Spent quiet mornings on the screened porch with coffee and a breeze off the channel. It is a tiny space but perfect for our weekend getaway and we appreciated having more space than most island hotel rooms. If you book in July it should be in walking distance of the Fireman’s Carnival."

"The property was very interesting to us with all the different paintings on the walls and some of the doors. We enjoyed playing air hockey, pool and checkers. We also enjoyed the fire pit. We had a great time."

"The property is all one floor which is nice. Kitchen was adequate. Quiet. Sadly though it was extremely dirty. I don’t think anyone has mopped the floors in a long time. The vacuum cleaner was either broken or needed some maintenance, could not effectively clean as requested at end of stay. There is a broom but was also in bad shape. Realize this is a very budget friendly with no bells and whistles but that shouldn’t preclude a little cleanliness.."
