The Hatch House

  • The Hatch house is a 3 bedroom 3 bath home on the Steinhatchee river that sleeps 8 adults. The house has a private boat ramp and private 70-foot long by 10-foot wide deep water dock. Perfect for scallop season, fishing tournaments, or just getting out on the river. The home is family-friendly, and there is plenty of privacy.

    We know your pets are part of the family. In order to protect our guests, pets are not allowed.

    The kitchen is fully stocked, and the home is fully furnished.
    The river views from the wrap around porch are stunning!

    If you need to work away from home, we now have high-speed internet!

Great time!

Perfect home for our 2 families! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The home was clean and spacious. The dock was great for our 2 boats. We had a great trip. We will be back.

This house is everything and more! Can’t get anymore peaceful. The house was perfect as well! Enjoyed watching nature from inside the home thru all the glass doors and also on the deck. Boat ramp and dock is a MAJOR plus!

Very laid-back peaceful vacation. Kitchen was well equipped. Note that nearest grocery store is 50 mins one way. The dollar general does carry some groceries but not a lot of selection. We did canoe on the river in several spots and went out on the flats fishing and caught red fish and trout. House was very clean. Only quirk is master bathroom has no shower; it has a spa tub with a handheld. The other two baths are tub/shower combo. Guests with mobility issues should be aware. It was a great trip and the house and it's surroundings we're beautiful.

Awesome place!

Such a nice place on the river with only woods across from you. Well stocked kitchen, cozy furniture, boat ramp and super long dock on property makes it perfect for a scalloping or fishing trip with your own boat! Great host, communicates quickly with you!

Beautiful spot

We had an amazing stay at The Hatch House. Plenty of room for our family. We did some scalloping, fishing and went to Steinhatchee Falls. The home is very nice and clean. It's furnished well also. We'll be back!

Loved this place!

Great kitchen and living room space to watch football and cook our scallop meal. The dock was perfect for our two boats with enough space for a third. Loved the view while we drank coffee. Very clean and the host was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be coming back next year.

This place is amazing. It was exactly what we needed as a group of friends. Plenty of space with all the amenities for a weekend get-a-way. (hope we can stay longer next trip) Everything was super clean and the owner was so easy to work with and very helpful. Great communication throughout the trip. Really nice house. Modern, open floor plan. Great views of river. A little long idle in boat to the gulf, but scenery is nice - and there’s nothing wrong with a little boat ride. Communication with owner / manager was easy and very efficient on a couple questions I had. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Beautiful Home on private property

Home was beautiful & off of a private gravel road with a gate. Private boat ramp & floating dock was very easy to use and convenient. Boat ride to inlet was about 50 mins. Any issues we had while we were there were quickly taken care of by the host.

Beautiful setting on the River

3 couples enjoyed our stay on the River. Very clean and a well equipped kitchen. Wish the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the deck and dock. Only thing that could have been better about this rental is that there is no shower in the master bathroom, tub only. Host was great to work with and answered any questions we had promptly.

Fun on the water

Wonderful stay. We were 2 couples but had room for 2 more. On the river a little ride by boat to the ocean but the amenities were wonderful. All new furnishings. 4 large beds. Beautiful sunrises. Coffee pot ready. Fishing from the dock success. Look forward to visiting again.

This property was absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful inside and the location was perfect. We had everything we needed. It’s like having three master suites which was awesome. It was large and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Everything was really just great about this property and the owner was perfect as far as communication and giving us information sort of pointing us in the right direction for our scalloping adventures just overall very good experience. I would absolutely stay here again!
