This was a sweet, cozy home, nicely decorated for the holidays. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the host left some wine & treats for us. We loved being able to walk to downtown. The only downside is that it’s on a busy road so there was some street noise, and the heating/ac units in each room were also a bit loud. Aside from that, we loved this place!

So beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, nicely stocked kitchen. Due to the age of the house, there is no central a/c. The room a/c keeps the space comfortable, but they are really loud. Great location. Was a perfect place for us to stay while getting our daughter settled in her apartment.

Great location in downtown Chico! The house has all the amenities needed that made the stay more comfortable for a multi week stay. The owners were responsive and provided great information. We would definitely stay here again!

A Chico GEM!

Decorated so chic and stylish, extremely clean, and stocked very well. We felt so welcome when we entered the home. TV's placed where you can watch from any place in the house. Heater/AC units keep the temperature very comfortable throughout. We loved the size of this home. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Although we didn't use the gas grill in the fenced backyard on this trip, we sure will on our next! Highly recommend a stay at this Chico GEM! We look forward to staying here again!

Mom / Daughter weekend

Visiting my daughter before her Sophmore year starts at Chico State and we had a wonderful stay. We were able to relax and cook together. This is one of the only Vrbo's that has a fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook food. The neighboring house that is managed by the same people is also very nice and fully stocked. We definately stay at one of these houses again, depending on how many people are visiting. Thank you!

The perfect house close to downtown!

We are family friends coming up for Dad's weekend, so we were close to the sororities, campus, and downtown. The house had plenty of parking in the back, a large yard, a clean and spacious house, and lovely amenities. The host was extremely gracious and responsive. We had a wonderful time!

Clean small and very adequate.

Supplied well, furnished well, clean and cozy. Only down side is that it is right up against a busy street. It is small as posted but there is lots to do in the area. Back yard is sizable and fenced in. Didn't like parking in the alley in the back but there is no driveway or parking on the street. Overall, we would stay here again and the host communicated and was very available had anything gone wrong. Seems very fresh and newly remodeled including appliance.

Literally perfect

This place is run by a third-party rental agency and they do an exceptional job. It's decorated beautifully, incredibly clean and has absolutely everything you need. Even bath toys, yard toys and stroller for kids. We tried to come again in October but it was booked. You will not be disappointed.

We have stayed at two different propertys in Chico our last experience was slightly better.

Excellent property easy access with off street parking. Darlene the host contacted us prior to and during our stay to insure eveything was as advertised. We visit our son every year and will be looking for this property again

This place felt just like home. Everything you could possibly need or want was provided down to the finest detail. The place was decorated so well and everything was perfectly clean. We will definitely add this place to our favorites for future visits to Chico!!

Sweet Little Cottage

We needed an escape badly. In Darlene’s lovely little cottage we were restored. The interior is warm and comfortable. It is decorated beautifully and with attention to delight. There was nothing lacking. We cooked, watched our favorite shows, crafted, read, etc. The sunny, private outside backyard is great for relaxing with a beverage and/or grilling a meal. We didn’t want to leave this sweet place and will be back, for sure.

Super Helpful Host!

This is a great house to stay in at a great location within Chico. The host was super helpful in answering any question I had and went out of her way to help the guests. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Chico area.
