"I was very happy about the friendliness of the staff, especially the front manager Silvia who went above and beyond to accommodate me with my very late arrival. She wanted to help me with my lost luggage as well but luckily I didn’t have to bother her. The room was clean and spacious. Overall a great stay and welcome to Zambia. Highly recommend "

"We loved the setting! Each room was a small bungalow of its own. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was plenty of seating in the room and it had a nice bathroom with hot shower. "There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). "The staff were excellent, the one who stood out was lady at reception Edna. Keep it up. Rooms were ok, a suggestion to add a non slippery mat just outside shower and toilet. Night Receptionist requires customer care training"

"Sam the general Manager is very helpful and goes out of his way to assist you whenever he can. The staff are very friendly and give you the feeling that they are to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible nothing seems to be to much trouble. The best of being self catering but with all the facilities that you would get in a hotel ie meals cooked to order plus plus. The only item that is missing for me was that there was no gym and i am an exercise fanatic."
