Beautiful soaring Adirondack home, fantastic deck and hot tub (perfect working order), well appointed kitchen. We had a great time, John was very responsive, and would stay again!We had some issues with heat, though. Despite following instructions (heat upstairs first). the registers in the bedrooms simply wouldn’t go on (it was 3 outside, needless to say the bedrooms were pretty frigid). House finally came up to temp day 3, and then the bedroom heat mysteriously came on, and all was well!

NY adventures

Family Ski Weekend

We loved everything about our stay and the accommodations The Hot Tub was a big hit as well as the fireplace.The kitchen had what we needed.The Outside Grill gave us the perfect Burger we only missed the Towels and not sure if I missed that on the listing we had three towels We would recommend this place to everyone Will definitely Re

Extended Family getaway

The house was the perfect size for our large family to gather for the holidays. The kids had plenty to do with the pool table and foosball table. The house had a few sleds and we went on hikes and went sledding. The hot tub was really nice as well. The house could have used a few more pieces of cutlery , but other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

New Years skiing on Gore mountain

We had a great family time. Fire place and hot tub were a blast. We were lucky to have snow on Gore mountain and enjoyed skiing. Lovely property in the woods!

Relaxing in the woods

This was a great place lots of room with many modern features. The property was lovely. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on the deck and lounging by the fire place. The host was good about answering questions.

Mouse Poop

This property seems beautiful and the perfect location, and maybe some of it was. But it is listed as holding 13 people and having all separate rooms. One of the areas to sleep in was a pull out couch in the basement. When opening that couch there was mouse poop and a pee stain on it. Completely unsanitary and not a place I would let anyone sleep. Because of this my party of 13 had to scramble to find something for two people to sleep on. When I informed the owner of the issue he didn’t seemed concerned at all. I would be wary staying here unless you don’t mind sleeping with the mice.

Friends weekend

I rented this house for myself, and seven of my friends including my husband. Overall, this property is exceptional. The house is beautiful. The beds are very comfy. There is plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen is huge and extremely well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub very much. The fireplace was awesome and the downstairs game room with a bar is really cool. it was a nice quiet place for us to just relax and have a great weekend. I would 100% recommend this property. The host was very quick to respond when I asked questions and very very helpful especially when I accidentally left my glasses on site. He was kind enough to mail them to me . We will definitely be back for another weekend like this!
