Cabaña de madera con vistas fantásticas, con la privacidad de lado sereno de la montaña. Arrullados por las brisas de la montaña tenues frescas y los sonidos del río abajo. En el porche cubierto, relajarse en varios rockeros de registro y ver las nubes flotan y el horizonte siempre cambiante de las Montañas Humeantes. BBQ su pesca del día o de su carne favorita en el grilll; o disfrutar de un picnic en la mesa de picnic Amish en el porche trasero. Caminatas arriba y abajo de la pantalla laurel de montaña, flores silvestres, bayas de color azul y negro camino privado. Hemos visto regularmente bandadas de pavos salvajes, ciervos, conejos y otros animales salvajes.

Un montón de muebles cómodos para descansar lejos un día de lluvia y escuchar la lluvia suena dramático sobre el techo de metal en el gran porche de balanceo. Acogedora delante de la chimenea de piedra. 2-satélite TV con DVD y VHS con biblioteca de películas aptas para niños. Tenemos un poco más de 1 gigabyte de datos disponibles por noche de estadía; y podemos obtener más bajo pedido por una pequeña tarifa.

Lo largo de la carretera escénica 4 millas pasado dos impresionantes cascadas (foto de abajo) es el lugar de lanzamiento para el rafting el Nantahala. A sólo 4 millas de la otra dirección es el hermoso lago Nantahala. Tres empresas de rafting a poca distancia en coche. A little slice of heaven

We totally enjoyed our stay. The porch had the most beautiful long range peaceful views. The cabin was well stocked and our host was responsive. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway.

Nice Getaway and Views!

We had a wonderful weekend visit at the cabin. The views and mountain air were so nice. The cabin is cute and quaint and comfortable. The drive up Wayah Rd is breathtaking of the river! So many waterfalls. We enjoyed fishing and river rafting and sight seeing while there. Be sure to bring what you need or grab on the way in a town since there are no gas stations or stores within 20-30 minutes.

Beautiful Cabin

Everything was very nice. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. The view is amazing. The mountains are beautiful. We were attending a wedding and did not have much time to take advantage of the beautiful location, hiking, waterfalls. The information about the WiFi code that was sent to me on VRBO was inaccurate, but the correct information was posted in the cabin. It was the perfect place to come back to after hectic wedding activities and then after a beautiful ceremony and reception.

Memorial trip

Our trip was to remember my son whose ashes were scattered at the waterfall on Wayah Rd. The cabin was a perfect pick for us and was wonderful with stunning views from the back deck. We appreciate the opportunity to stay at this beautiful cabin and it will definitely be our choice to stay every year from now on. It is close to the waterfall and we could visit often during our stay.

Million Dollar View!!

The property was nice but the view….literally a million dollar view! The road up to the cabin was a bit dicey and we were in a 4 wheel drive truck. Don’t recommend driving up at night or in bad weather. Once you reached the cabin it was worth it! The cabin had what we needed for a comfortable stay. We chose this cabin for solitude & reflection and it was exactly perfect. I definitely recommend stopping at Ingles prior to going up to the cabin. The closest market is at least 20-30 mins away. There were MANY waterfalls and hiking trails close to the cabin, within 3-4 miles. There was also lots of rafting and trout fishing which is what the area is known for. All in all a lovely getaway. Met our needs

The cabin was as described and had all we needed to cook dinner our first night there. I do wish we had realized that there are no towns close by and no stores. The deck outside was perfect to enjoy the mountain view and cool crisp air!

Fall Get-Away

We were thrilled with our visit to this cabin! It was cozy with an awesome mountain decor. It was very well stocked and had a fabulous back deck/porch with a stunning view of the mountains. The weather was perfect and we ate out on the back porch and took our dog for lots of walks around the mountain. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.

Great cabin with a wonderful view.

This property is up where you can see the valley and the mountains across from it. It’s quiet with everything you need for a short, medium or long stay. We unplugged as well as watched the NFL season opener. Day trips nearby and further are spectacular.

Great location for outdoor adventures.

Nearby you have Lake Nanthaha, Nanthahala River, Bryson City, hiking to observation towers, mountain biking and about 1:15 from Ocoee River. Beautiful country.

Breathtaking View

The view was exceptional. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and grilling out while looking at the beautiful mountains. Slept well in the king bed upstairs.

Beautiful view!

The view is spectacular. The cabin is clean and very cozy. There is plenty of hiking trails nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much, and spent a ton of time out on the porch enjoying the view. A qarning about the driveway up to the cabin: its steep and curvy. Highly recommend doing it in daylight the first time. We had our Camaro with us and it made the trip up the hill without any problem.

Amazing cabin with beautiful view

The cabin was very nice and well maintianed. The back porch view was truly amazing durning the fall colors. The road to the cabin is not motorcycle acessible unless using a small trailer to pull bikes up and down. Great location for the lake and a Wayah rd is a must to travel on and take time to enjoy. I would recommend and revisit this cabin. No cell phone service for us in the cabin (verizon).

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is as beautiful as the pictures if not more. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials that you need to cook. One suggestion is to bring a few extra trash bags as the accumulation of trash can happen fast if you are cooking for a family and although there are trash sites on certain days, it was a bit of a challenge for us. But we made it work. The other is, definitely want to arrive in daylight your first day. We didn't get there till 10pm and the road was a bit scary. However, after your first time you will be okay. The host was very responsive and quickly.

Best place and view ever!

We have stayed at this wonderful home for a month on three different occasions in the last three years. It is everything the write-up describes and much, much more. The view is the best one we’ve ever had, and we’ve been coming to the Nantahala Gorge area for at least 15 years. The house is comfortable and well stocked and there is a lovely one mile walk up and back down the mountain right out the door. I can’t say enough about this place and it’s owner, who communicates quickly when needed!

A View that Rivals a Great Masterpiece

The drive up the first time is a little scary (especially at night), but you’ll get used to it. The place is cozy and clean. The back porch is the crème de la crème of this beautiful property. Every day the view was changed by the weather. Our cell phone didn’t work, but the limited internet data gave us the ability to text. It’s a getaway that truly helps you get away from all the ruckus of daily life. The river on Wayah road has numerous waterfalls, that rival most of the falls in the national park. You could spend your days photographing them, fly fishing, tubing, or rafting on the numerous rivers in the area. Don’t forget to fire up the grill for some grilled fresh trout you catch from the river. I’d rate this place a slice of Heaven above the clouds among a sea of green. Can’t imagine what this place looks like in the Fall. Do some research before you come, because there’s so much you can do. Or just hang out at the cabin and do nothing, s’mores around a campfire, games on the back porch. Either way, you’ll have a magical time.

Peace and quiet

The view is spectacular, and it is so quiet. Only saw the neighbors once and that is while they drove by the cabin going to their place. I would place this in the top 6 of all the VRBO's I've stayed in.

Family vacation

We loved our stay at the cabin. Clean and had everything you would need for a nice comfortable stay. The view was amazing. We could hear the waterfalls and river from the back porch. So peaceful and relaxing. So glad we stayed there for our family summer vacation.

Knock out view

The property ideal for two although it can sleep 6. The indoor fireplace and thankfully firewood provided makes a very cozy cabin when the mountain rain weather hunkers in. Super benefit you can bring your animal babies. You must be country tough as in order to see this view you’ve got to have the know how to manage the steep drive in and out. The owner is awesome to communicate with.
