  • The Fleece House is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday cottage dating back to 1850 which combines period charm with contemporary comfort. Sleeping 6+2 guests across three stylish bedrooms, with the +2 option being a small double sofa bed, there are also three spacious bathrooms, a bespoke open plan kitchen and dining area that overlooks the courtyard and a generous sitting room with a cosy wood burner. Outside, the pretty courtyard offers comfortable seating to enjoy all year round. Full of character, this dog friendly holiday home makes for a wonderful Cotswold retreat in the heart of a bustling market town.

    This three bedroom holiday cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

    The maximum occupancy for this property is 8 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

    Off street parking is available for up to 2 medium sized cars

    The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

Great stay in the cotswolds!

Beautiful home in the heart of the cotswolds. The location was great, the house was cosy, clean and exactly as described. We will most definitely return to the fleece house.

A Beautiful property in the perfect location.

Fleece House has been the perfect accommodation for a short vacation with three couples. We all had an equal level of high end luxury with each bedroom without any compromise for anyone. There is parking for two cars and a pretty courtyard garden for if the weather is good. The kitchen has an amazing cooker so if you are self catering, you'll have everything you need. It's location made it so easy to walk anywhere in Stow and there are plenty of pubs and very nice places to eat without the need to get the car out. Would definitely recommend and would definitely book again.

Fabulous property

I booked Fleece House for a birthday celebration (6 adults) neither I or the rest of the party have any complaints. A stunning property with high end fixtures and fittings, beautiful! Perfect for 6 adults (3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) well equipped outdoor space with outdoor furniture and BBQ. It even had space for 2 cars behind the courtyard garden and we were lucky enough to grab a 3rd parking spot right outside. The location was perfect. A 2 minute walk in to the town (Stow) and 10/15 minute drive to Bourton -On -The Water. Great for also visiting Clarksons Diddly Squat and the Farmers Dog and a very convenient 6 minute car journey to a Tesco for those last minute snacks! I emailed Carlie with lots of questions regarding what was at the property and I always had a quick response back. We all would 100% recommend this property.

Probably the best property at which we have stayed *****

Usually we find it difficult to tick every box when booking a short break away … this property was different and exceeded expectations. Everything was just perfect; from the location to the living space. The list of plus points would take up too much space on this review. Here are just a few: Excellent family accommodation … large well kitted-out kitchen/diner. Separate large lounge for a relaxing evening. Study for any break-out activities. Sun drenched courtyard … with a brand new Gas BBQ and comfy furniture. Two Spacious bedrooms with en-suites, one without and a separate bathroom. Ample parking for two reasonably sized cars. It’s literally a stone’s throw from the town centre and all Stow has to offer …. and on and on.
