Pretty but dirty

I stayed in this house from 9/26-9/30. The view is absolutely beautiful. That wall of doors and windows when you arrive is a water lover’s dream. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need to create a meal. The game room and hot tub looked nice but we did not use these features. The problems arose as soon as we were picking our rooms. The main bedroom had an unmade, slept in bed. We had arrived a little bit early, but in looking, there were no more linens for the bed, so it was obvious they would need to be laundered and there was no way to achieve this by check in time. The en suite bathroom was also dirty. One of the two sinks was visibly soiled and there was a white powder on the countertop. The outside of the shower was also dirty. The deck hadn’t been swept and the outside table had food on it. I messaged and was eventually told that a ticket was placed. We left to go shopping. When we arrived back 2 hours later, no one had shown up. I messaged again and informed management that I would have to do the sheets myself as I needed some place to sleep. I was told that someone would arrive the next day to take care of the issues. I let management know that we would be out of the house for most of the day on day 2, and they could come any time to fix things. When we arrived back, the deck had been swept but no attempt at the table. The couch outside was still covered and when I uncovered it, it was filthy. The bed that I had laundered for them had bee

Perfect Family Getaway

Booking, check in, and check out were exceptionally simple and straightforward. The home was exactly as pictured and described. The owners/property managers really did think of nearly everything. The property and grounds were clean and well maintained. We made use of the game room (lots of family fun to be had), the hot tub (very clean with an unbeatable view- extra beach towels provided), the bbq, and the outdoor dining space. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The property is near Lake Chelan State Park and only a 25 minute drive to Chelan proper. It was nice to get away from the bustle of town each evening to relax, watch the wildlife, and view the stars from the deck while listening to crickets. We would absolutely book a return trip.

Quiet

Enjoyed the peacefulness but it was further down the road from Chelan than I expect (my fault for not checking) the access road is a bit "funky" and the only comment from me that needs a bit of attention - the hot tub tie straps are all broken - the wind howled one night and lifted the lid dropping pine needles, etc. We did enjoy our entire stay. Property Manager got a 3 because we did not have any contact that I am aware of.

Great house with an amazing view

Positives: the house and furnishings, deck, view, hot tub, master bed, and ping pong table. Negatives: some dirty dishes on the deck, hot tub had a dirty ring around edge and was stuck at 99 degrees (both of which were fixed), check out was a bit early at 10am and they wouldn't push to 11. Would definitely stay there again.

Hidden Gem

This is a quaint and charming vacay rental. The view sells itself and that was worth the price of admission. Utilities and amenities were all solid and working. Beds were comfortable and clean. Every morning we were greeted by a heard of deer and their babies. Morning coffee was great on both the front porch and back porch. PRIVATE! No one around! The kids enjoyed the finished garage. Even in the heat it didn’t get too hot out there for them (it’s not air conditioned where the bunk beds are). The kitchen was well stocked and clean. I think you need to manage your expectations when getting vacay rentals because they’re not 4 star hotels. The deck and the hot tub could use a good amount of attention since the back view is really the feature of the whole property. I would definitely book here again. My mom and kids loved it and I was really proud to bring them there.

Nice view

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house has everything you need: dishes, pots, blankets, W/D, kitchen appliances, central AC, and more. The view from the house on the lake is amazing, lots of privacy around the property. The only complain would be the cleanliness of the house. The rental company charges the cleaning and housekeeping fees, but it doesn't feel like someone is doing a good job on that. When we arrived, the floor was very dusty, dirty, and didn't look like it was vacuum or mop for ages. Also, the bed sheets didn't feel fresh or washed either. We had to wash all linens but the other issue was a dryer that is barely drying and it takes forever to dry your clothes or linens. Feels like the dryer vent needs some work. We stayed for a week, so we decided to mop the floor too as it was very dirty. I hope that the property manager will pay attention to people's reviews and followup on this. Also, the game room in the garage doesn't have AC, so it's very hot during summer to stay there. Other than that, we did enjoyed our stay and had a good time.

Family Friendly. Amazing Views

Everything you need to have a great time. Bring your own food and enjoy all the amenities. Kids from 6-18 were able to stay entertained for 3days. Lots of nature and a large property to explore with views from everywhere. Very private great for kids to run around.

Not clean, good locstion

Home was not cleaned right, upon arrival we saw used napkin on the table, lots of dust corners of the house, bunch of dust hair and 3 balloons behind chair in master. Under master bed some food particles and a graduation banner. Looks like cleaners did not do anything. When let them know they said sorry and we let the cleaner know. That is it. House is very private, lots entertainment item for teens. Foosball, table tennis and few other things. Jacuzzi was dirty we did not go in. Fridge was not cleaned. Locationwize , feature, great cleanliness not good. Specially during pandemic is awful.

We had a fantastic time, excellent views, if I had to complain about something it would be that you can't turn the hot tub up past 99°, and the place looked clean but was very dusty, but again we had a great time.

Beautiful view

Stayed here with a group of friends and it worked well for that. We chose this place because the views and we weren’t disappointed! Things to be mindful of about the property: The steep drive up is no joke! Also hard to find the turn out but we managed. 3rd bedroom is a garage and cold. Although the place appeared clean from dirt, there are lots of stains on the floor and cabinets either looked and felt as though they would fall off or didn’t close at all. When we walked in, the decor and lamp shades were askew which just seemed odd. We didn’t have enough towels for the amount of people the house said it holds (we had less people too). It was annoying since we used the hot tub and showered. I had to use a hand towel. Speaking of hot tub, it was murky...but we still used it. Overall, It was a wonderful stay. Great privacy, close to the lake to go for a swim, the ping pong and foosball tables (although the players are incorrectly placed) in the garage were fun to have, comfortable beds and lots of extra bedding options, big kitchen, and washer/dryer is nice to wash towels. Would stay here again since we know what to expect.

As much as I would likevto give this property a great rating, I can't.

The property is very dated. Carpets were filthy, dust, spider webs, cabinets that wouldn't close, dishwashers had broken top shelf that almost fell out when we unloaded a full dishwasher upon arrival. I couod have dealt with all of this for the spectacular view and clean, comfy beds, but...we chose property fo the hot tub. Unfortunately we never used it because it wasn't clean and the water was murky. Was really disapponting. Also, do not recomnend Vacasa. Extra charge but no owner to contact. Will use VRBO but not with Vacasa management.

Great view and location, house was OK

*Pros: The location was away from crowds, up on a hill, so the privacy was excellent! The view of the lake and mountain was excellent where the deck had sun all day long. Having a washer/dryer was great after swimming in the lake, which we went to the Lake Chelan State Park that is 10 min away. A/C was much needed during our stay and it was working great! Even though this is an actual 2 bedroom house, it had more than enough space for 6 adults and 3 toddlers. Lots of kitchen supplies that you can use but we brought our own just to be safe during COVID-19. *Cons: The grill was no so clean, which was excepted, so we took our own grill pan. We were so looking forward to using the hot tub but it was pretty filthy with stains on the inter wall and sand/pebbles on the base. We called Vacasa about this who came the following day to clean but still the entire family didn't feel comfortable using it so we ended up not using the hot tub at all which was a bummer. The microwave heating was not working. Not sure if housekeeping is doing a good job cleaning and prepping the house upon arrival of next guest as there were trash around the property that wasn't picked up and also had lighted match sticks and sign of the previous guest smoking pot on the deck. The extra sleeping space made in the garage wasn't suitable to sleep when the weather was 100 degree. No AC and ventilation in the garage which made it impossible to use. 2 adults slept in the living room because of this. The jetted tub in the master did not work. Maintenance came the following day and showed me where the manual reset button was but we ended up not using it. Hope it would have worked upon arrival when we attempted to use it. Mentioned more Cons than Pros but overall the place was great! Glad we were able to find availability of this property when searching mid-July, which is late to make any reservation in Chelan durning peak summer. The dates we went were the only availability of this property and they had the next guest checking in the day we were checking out. The local manager was friendly and responsive.

Nice but has room for improvement.

There were some maintenance issues that could have made this a perfect stay. Most glaring were the food and beverage stains on the indoor carpet and outside deck. I reported a broken tray/rack for the dishwasher which may have been the cause of a load of dirty dishes greeting us on our arrival. Linens were clean as were surfaces throughout. Other items in need of repair were also reported to the property manager for the benefit of the next house guest. Hot tub was nice but the water clarity was questionable. Again, another maintenance issue that could resolve this.

Great location, okay house

The home is in a great spot about 20 minutes outside of Chelan, and in a quiet neighborhood. However, there were a few hiccups. When we arrived to the house, it was 90 degrees inside and stayed that way all night. After going through the home packet I saw there was a heat pump so I tried to get some cold air in the house. It didn’t work. The third bedroom/playroom, with the bunks, is actually in the garage. That part wasn’t so bad, but the ping pong table looked like someone just got done playing a few rounds of beer pong on it and the foosball table has all the guys facing the wrong direction. The carpet could use a deep cleaning too. The hot tub was also pretty gross. Someone actually showed up to fix the hot tub (drain, refill, add chemicals), which took around 4-5 hours. He said the hot tub basically has to be drained after every stay because it gets gross (why doesn’t this happen before people show up?). I alsomentioned the broken A/C. He called someone but they weren’t able to fix it until the next day. After that crazy first night, everything settled down and it was good to come back to a house that was cool. The last night we were there we went to open a cabinet door to get a plate and it just fell off. I called the property management team and they said I might be charged, I might not; do not very helpful. It is a great spot and can be made even better with a few changes like having things in working order before guests arrive and using the cleaning fee for actual cleaning!

Nice location but news some improvements

The location of the property is in a great secluded area with a beautiful view of the lake. The place has everything you need in a kitchen so cooking is very easy and the outside deck is perfect for the summer. The cleanliness of the place and the hot tub were both a concern. It looks like a the rugs, couches and other furniture need to be wiped down more thoroughly. The garage with bunk beds is covered with spiders so I don't recommend having anyone sleep out there. The air conditioning also struggled to stay below 80 degrees, so the house is very hot beginning midday. The hot tub is also very dirty I don't recommend going in unless they have cleaned it. Overall I would say it's a good place but has some things you should know and needs some updates.

Great view

We arrived at 5:15 to get into the house (4 pm check in) the housekeeper was still in the house. The hot tub had some bugs and leaves in it. Jacuzzi tub in the master does not work. A couple things that would make the stay more enjoyable would be a deck heater and allowing the AC to come on before 75 degrees. CAUTION to anyone staying in the master bring a sleep mask if you prefer to sleep past sun up. There are 2 skylights above the bed. And another issue is the "security cameras" facing the hot tube and the deck.
