"Lovely place, peaceful location. Great Bathroom, Beds comfy, Knives sharp and pans non-stick, everything working as it should. Probably the best we've stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places over years. Garden fenced well and secure for the Dog. You can access short walks from the house but its only 15 min to walking beaches like NT cogden etc. and Symondsbury 1 mile up the road. So we had a very enjoyable few days."

"Spent 3 nights in Batty’s barn for a wedding where our family stayed in all 3 properties on the farm. The farm is beautiful with loads of colours from the wild flowers. The welcome basket with bread, butter, jam etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Ed was super helpful so much so member of the wedding party broke down in the day of the wedding and he helped bringing the family member to the wedding venue being a true life saver! Beds were lovely and comfy and the house was lovely...

"We stayed here for 3 nights, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. Parking at the cottage was a blessing as the road outside was busy with residents cars. An ideal base to explore Dorset, and several pubs within easy walking distance. Would stay here again."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and hosts. The home is so well appointed, down to the silverware. Every detail is rich and inviting.
Please ask for the breakfast. If the weather is beautiful you can ask for breakfast in the garden. Fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, and home made warm from the oven croissants and chocolate croissants. For a very reasonable price.
Ask about watching a sunset from the ruins of a Roman fort! The owner has a wonderful map with local sites and...
