The Neighborhood:
Mountain Rose is located on Suck Creek Mountain, an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Chattanooga or the Sequatchie Valley. Nestled against the sunny woodlands of Prentice Cooper State Forest — teeming with gentle deer, bunnies, and more.

Other Things to Note:
There is a very sweet and friendly yellow lab who lives next door, he loves to play fetch! You may or may not see him, but it's very likely :) Our guests absolutely love him. You could say he's our "secret unofficial amenity." He's adorable, but if you can't stand dogs and that would dip your rating below 5-stars, please book elsewhere.

"Can you give me a discount?"

You will get an automatic 10% discount if you book at least 7 nights and 20% discount for monthly stays.

"Do you have reliable Internet & WiFi?"

Yes, we have lightning-fast fiber optic internet and WiFi, in fact, we're known for some of the fastest internet in the U.S., which we're very proud of :)

"Is there a firepit?"

Yes! There is a fire pit in the yard. Guests bring their own firewood and accessories :)

"Is there a grill? Is it propane or charcoal?"

There is a small charcoal grill on the back porch, however our guests bring their own charcoal and lighter.

"Are there hiking trails nearby?"

Yes, there are about 35 miles of beautiful hiking trails in Prentice Cooper State Forest.

“What’s the minimum age requirement for booking?”

Our minimum age required to book is 18.

"Is there a grocery store near the home?"

I recommend the Walmart Supercenter on Signal Mountain Rd, you should pass it on your way in :)

“Do you offer payment plans?”

We can’t control payment plans on our end, but Airbnb often makes one available, you may see the option when booking.

"What beds are in the house?"

Downstairs master suite has a king with a bunk/single above it, and another single trundle that slides from under the king. So the master sleeps 4 (one king and two single mattresses). Upstairs there are two rooms. The first room upstairs is a queen. The second room has two bunk beds, for a total of 4 single mattresses. Altogether, we have 8 beds that sleep 10 people. We also have a pack 'n play.

"How many TV's are in the home?"

There are 2 high definition smart TV's (living room + master bedroom downstairs) and lightning fast Wifi throughout the house for on demand entertainment.

Awesome Mountain Stay!

The property was wonderful and has room so many guests. The drive up the mountain and the kids catching fireflies was worth the price by itself.I would recommend!
