Makin' Memories What We Do Best, With Family and Your Tail Wagging Friends.

  • "Makin' Memories" Bungalow (1340 sq ft) was originally built in 1919 and was an original Mill House, (one level) also known as a Shotgun House. I has had numerous add-ons over the last 110 years. The house has been totally gutted and remodeled with new electric, plumbing, and all of that good stuff! The Battle of Missionary Ridge was fought on this property, located on a 2 block street. I have found bullets, cannon balls, and shot when digging in the flower beds. I even discovered an old tractor petal when it was a farm and cow pastures years ago. My insurance will not cover pit bulls, chows, Rottweilers, or dobermans, or any mixed breeds that have these three. I live across the street and behind my house the gardens are located. It is an old 3 tiered lot with 2 ponds. One pond has goldfish and a Mermaid fountain. Sit and relax and enjoy the birds, views of Downtown and listen to the splash of the water taking your stress far, far away. The sunsets are wonderful as the sun disappears behind Lookout Mountain. It is convenient to the downtown area and all the hospitals. There is a FULLY FENCED IN back yard for your (2)dogs with a pet fee. I am not able to offer military discounts. 2 miles to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. I own most of the neighborhood and still working on it. One lot at a time. It is in transition, but we all know each other. The city of Chattanooga is experiencing rapid redevelopment, economic growth, and what some call "gentrification". This means that if you stay in the city, you are likely to be on a street with a wide variety of properties, ranging from very good condition, to fair, to vacant. In addition, there is great racial, cultural, and economic diversity with city residents. I live across the street and love it here, but it may not be for everyone. I want all guests to consider this prior to booking, so no unfavorable review result.
    Please do not ask for a late check out. I respect that my cleaners have lives other than just cleaning my rentals. Feel free to stay another day. Thank you!

We were there for IM Chattanooga it was a great house for 2 couples. The back porch was great for relaxing having coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening

This property and host make you feel well taken care of. The kids jungle gym is across the street, which changed our plans of letting the kids loose in the back yard, but all of the kids toys, puzzles, high chairs, etc took care of everything we needed during our stay.

Spacious rooms, kitchen well equipped. Game, covered seating on back deck. Centrally located, convenient to all locations we were interested in. A great choice for a place to stay while visiting Chattanooga.

Excellent location! Easy to get to everything in Chattanooga. The home was beautifully decorated and clean. Several bonus amenities provided to ease our stay. Great communicator. Neighborhood was safe. We would definitely stay here again.

This was perfect for our 3 adult 2 kids trip! It gave us plenty of space to spread out. Lightning bugs in the backyard were a hit! It was clean and well taken care of. The landscaping was beautiful with the bonus of a playset for use on the street. The only thing I would warn future renters about is it maybe difficult to park a larger vehicle there, but with enough practice it won't be an issue.

The house is welcoming, cute, and well stocked. We had different events to attend while in town and the house was conveniently located for us. Tammy was so sweet and we would definitely stay again!

A lovely home with everything we could ever need for our stay. We traveled with 3 kids (ages 1, 9 and 11) and our dog. It had the perfect set up for all of us, plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, cozy back patio and fence yard and it was very clean. Tammy was a great hostess and popped in to introduce herself. We appreciated the attention to detail at the home and had a great stay!

Tammy is an exceptional hostess. Everything was clean tidy and decorated beautifully for Christmas. We could not have asked for nicer place to stay. We felt safe and comfy every evening as we returned from our daily outings.I highly reccomend this precious little house.

Great home, very clean, and well-stocked. We felt at home here and had everything we needed. Tammy is a great host, we very much enjoyed talking with her and our stay at her home.

Tammy was welcoming, as usual. We stayed with my in-laws and revisited some of Chattanooga’s best spots, including Rock City with all the Christmas lights. The home was clean, inviting, and spacious - just as it was this summer.
