When I first got there it was raining and I had to pull my suitcase from across the parking lot to the door. There’s no overhang so I got wet. I had a long 10hr drive to get there so I was wet and tired. When I got to the desk to check in I was asked if I wanted to keep my 2nd floor room or did I want a room on the 1st floor. Asking why, I was told the elevator doesn’t work. And I would have to carry my suitcase up to flights of stairs. As nice as that young man was that was a stupid question. Of course I’m gonna want a first floor room, and I still have to carry my heavy suitcase up 4 steps. In the morning breakfast consist of stale cereal, boiled eggs it taste like rubber and Coffee that taste burnt. Needless to say I did not eat breakfast this morning. I chose to get some fruit out of the cooler in my car instead. This day was not exactly the most pleasant day I’ve had in a hotel. I was planning on staying there on my way back to Florida. However, I have canceled that reservation and I will stay somewhere else. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The manager I spoke to was less than helpful. I’m sure her hands are tied in what she can take care of. Corporate has control over how this hotel is run and are the only ones that can do anything about the elevator and the breakfast bar. The coffee maker just needs to be cleaned out to get rid of the burnt taste.. the room itself. Was pretty clean. I have no complaints there.
