Our room was lovely and clean, the public areas were very comfortable and the grounds were well-maintained. The food did not really come up to our expectations and we only ate there on the first night.

Hot water ran out in the lodge and we had to call someone to fix it be because the boiler had “tripped”. Got to breakfast which we had paid for to fine it was £2 each extra for a “barista” coffee and £5 extra for smoke salmon and scrambled eggs. We didn’t have either and won’t be going again. Hate ...

Overall excellent place to stay. Staff friendly and service fantastic. The only downside was music could be heard from the bar area at night until approximately 10pm.
