Provencal country house with heated freeform pool

located between Avignon and St Rémy de Provence, this house is a superb and luxurious holiday home located in the countryside just 1.5 km from the city center. The house has a beautiful fenced garden where there is a magnificent, very original private swimming pool with jacuzzi, bench in the water and a beach area.
It is an ideal place for all ages. Beautiful terrace with garden table. This house offers a very neat interior. A spacious living area with its equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom as well as a child's bedroom equipped with a
90 cm bed and a cot. The house is fitted with a refreshing floor.

Miscellaneous: pets allowed on request - supplement 35 euros per pet.
Linens provided.

In low season, electricity consumption can lead to additional costs (from the 1st week of September to the 4th week of June included).

Wie im Paradies

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Das Haus und der Garten sind mindestens so schön wie im Angebot beschrieben. Man kommt zum Grundstück, drückt auf die Fernbedienung und es öffnet sich das große Tor zum Paradies. Es ist alles wunderschön und liebvoll angelegt. Wir waren Anfang April dort und konnten bereits den geheizten Pool benutzen. Das Haus ist groß und geräumig. Die vier Doppelzimmer sind mit französichen Betten ausgestattet (1x180 cm, 2x160 cm und 1x140cm) und es gibt noch ein weiteres (Kinder-)Zimmer mit einem Einzelbett und einem Kinderbett. Jedes Doppelzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad, das aber jeweils direkt im Zimmer ist und kein WC hat ! Die WCs sind seperat (eins oben, eins unten) und es gibt nur diese zwei (kleiner Kritikpunkt). Der Wohnbereich ist großzügig und die Küche riesig und komplett ausgerüstet. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal. Man hat im Umkreis von ca. 2 km alle wichtigen Geschäfte (Intermarche, Lidl, Super-U, mehrere Bäckerein) und das Zentrum von Chateaurenard ist auch nur ca. 3 km entfernt. Trotz dieser zentralen Lage ist es im Haus und auf dem Grundstück sehr ruhig. Alles in allem war es ein toller Aufenthalt und der Vermieter Fabien ein sehr angenehmer und hilsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in diesem Haus Urlaub machen.

Super Urlaub für 2 Familien mit Kindern

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in einem traumhaften Ferienhaus! 2 Familien mit 3 Kindern, die den fantastischen Pool auch schon Anfang April dank Heizung genießen konnten. Wir haben schon ein paar Häuser in dieser Gegend besucht und waren hier positiv überrascht, wobei die Fotos ja schon viel versprochen haben! Ausstattung ist mehr als ausreichend vorhanden und alles war sauber. Fabien ist bei jeder Frage schnell zur Stelle, absolut unkomplizierte und schnelle Kommunikation. Die Lage ist für uns super, sehr ruhig und niemand fühlt sich von den Kindern gestört. Abends waren nur die Kröten in einiger Entfernung zu hören. Der nächste Urlaub hier ist schon vor Abreise gebucht worden. Wir kommen sicher noch einige Male wieder und freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen.

een echt vakantiegevoel

Een zeer aangenaam verblijf. De tuin, het zwembad en terras waren zeer netjes, goed onderhouden. Het zwembad was fantastisch. Binnen een ruime keuken, alleen om te koken voor een groep van 9 personenhad er meer materiaal mogen zijn, kookmateriaal. Borden, bestek, .... voldoende aanwezig. Het huis is zeer fris binnen. We hebben dus genoten van onze vakantie.

Traumhafte Villa

Die Villa ist einfach ein Traum. Die wunderschöne, gepflegte Gartenanlage mit einem sehr schönen, beheizten Freiformpool und integrierten Jacuzzi ist einfach sensationell. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und mit sehr gutem Geschmack eingerichtet. Fabien ist ein super netter Gastgeber. Die Villa ist zu 100% zu empfehlen.

AMAZING!

We loved every second of this Villa. The house was clean, updated and large enough with multiple sleeping options and bathrooms/showers. The grounds were gorgeous - as pretty as the pictures! Our hosts (Fabien and Carol) were so incredibly friendly and were timely in answering any questions we had. We also had the extra bonus of hiring a local chef (Jean-Marc Larrue - email with his permission is jml.larrue@gmail.com) who had more than enough room to make amazing meals in the very large kitchen. Nothing but a "five star" experience. Would return at anytime!

Ein Traumurlaub in le Macaju

Wir waren zu neunt (eine Kochgruppe und ich) in dem wunderschönen Haus am Rand von Chateaurenard. Das Haus war in Wirklichkeit noch schöner als die Fotos und die Beschreibung vermitteln konnten. Im umzäunten Gelände fanden all unsere Autos Platz und wir waren umringt von Obstgärten, so dass ausser einem kleinen gesprächigen Frosch nachts himmlische Ruhe herrschte. Der wunderschön angelegte Garten mit dem Pool (der als Extra noch eine integrierten Jacuzzi und einen Wasserfall hatte) waren bei den heissen Temperaturen ein idealer Rückzugsort. Die Terrasse hatte sehr bequeme Stühle und war abends wunderschön zu beleuchten. Was mir als Köchin besonders gut gefiel war die große Küche, die zum einen sehr gut eingerichtet war und auch Platz für alle Kochwilligen liess. Den geschmackvollen Salon und das kleine Büro benutzen wir ob des schönen Wetters gar nicht. Alle Zimmer waren gleich groß und gleich schön, allerdings sollte ein Pärchen recht "kuschelig" unterwegs sein, weil es mit 140 etwas schmaler ist. Unser Gastgeber Fabien war ein Schatz! Nicht nur, dass schon gekühlter Rosé und hausgemachter Saft im (sehr grossen) Kühlschrank war. Er hat uns alles wunderbar gezeigt und erklärt, gab uns Tipps für unser "Sonntags-Poulet". Überhaupt waren die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Supermarkt und Bäcker recht nah. Schöne Ort in der Nähe wie l'sle sur Sorge (mit Sonntagsmarkt) und ST. Remy mit seinen schönen Gässchen und natürlich Avignon machten den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Merci beaucoup Fabien et j'espere à la prochaine:-)

Exceptionnel

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans cette magnifique propriété. La piscine est top et très originale avec un plage, un jacuzzi et une cascade, le jardin est magnifique aussi, ainsi que l'intérieur de la maison construite et décorée avec des matériaux de qualité. En plus le propriétaire est très chaleureux et accueillant. Bref c'est la maison de tous les superlatifs. Nous y reviendrons c'est sûr ! N'hésitez pas ! Wunderschönes Haus mit perfektem Pool und Garten

Das Mas «Les Macaju» ist ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Der grosse gepflegte Garten mit einem fantastischen Pool macht das Anwesen perfekt. Das Mas ist für Ausflüge in alle Windrichtungen in der Provence bestens gelegen. Dank der ruhigen Lage an einer Nebenstrasse kann man auch einfach entspannt Ferien ums Haus machen. Wir haben eine Woche mit 3 Generationen verbracht und jede Altersklasse hat die Zeit in der Wohlfühloase gleichermassen genossen. Auch mit 8 Personen fühlt sich das Haus immer noch grosszügig an und man hat nie das Gefühl sich auf die Füsse zu trampeln. Jedes Zimmer (ausser dem Kinderzimmer) hat eine eigene Dusche was für eine gewisse Privatsphäre sorgt. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer Fabien läuft unkompliziert und freundlich ab. Fabien ist für seine Gäste erreichbar und gibt ihnen ein gutes Gefühl. Wir können das Mas «Les Macaju» mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank Fabien!

Excellente expérience au coeur de la provence

Très joli mas dans un excellent état avec un jardin exceptionnel. La piscine chauffée est parfaite en pré-saison et on a pu profiter de la piscine même avec une météo officielle à 21 degrés seulement. Depuis la terrasse à l‘ombre d‘agréables voiles et bien protégé du vent, on a une belle vue sur la piscine et le jardin. Côté cuisine aussi tout le confort souhaité. Les supermarchés et un très bon boulanger sont à 3 minutes en voiture sur des routes calmes sauf sur les derniers 500m. Donc le velo (disponibles dans le mas) serait aussi possible. Notre hôte, Fabien était très accueillant. Une magnifique expérience et on reviendra l’année prochaine. Note 5/5.

5 Star Resort in an Ideal Provençal Location

Adult family reunion was dramatically enhanced by the accommodations and great care and service provided by Fabien and his witty daughter (who excelled in English). We utilized the entire array of amenities from the luxurious pool, to bolle in the large, groomed and private backyard, BBQ, sun bathing, cocktail hour on the patio etc. Equally important, the location just outside of Avignon, allowed us to make day trips to fabulous villages, wineries, and historical sites. We visited St. Rémy, Aix de Provence, Avignon, Roussillon, Nîmes, Arles, Orange, and several other “must sees”. Regarding the chateau, we were blown away with the modern and very elegant design and layout. The kitchen and community rooms were bright and first rate quality. Fabien and his daughter were gracious hosts. They even came out to assist our friends who had car trouble late at night on one of the country roads near the house. Now that’s service! A Hideaway Resort

Fabien and his daughter were very welcoming. It is such a beautiful home with a lot of thought going into the design. It has a resort feel to it. On arrival a bowl of freshly picked nectarines from Fabien and a bottle of wine to greet us. The house has air conditioning and it was very much needed during our time. The highlight was the pool for everyone, very clean and well maintained. We stayed for two weeks and would have liked to have stayed another week. Our excursions were Arle, St Remy and Avignon, all within reachable distance. There is a bbq, which we used, a table tennis and boule set. Thank you to Fabien for allowing us to use your fabulous home!

Magnifique vacances en famille

Maison extrêmement bien équipée, piscine au top. Nos enfants 2 et 8 ans s en sont donnés à cœur joie. Plein de petites attentions en plus de la maison: nectarine et huile d olive du propriétaire, table de ping pong, terrain de pétanque, bouée, vélo. La propriété est entièrement clôturée donc sécurisante. a recommander sans hésitation

Fab family break

The villa exceeded our expectations, and was even more beautiful than the pictures online show. Fabien met us with his family, his daughter can speak some English and so gave us the guided tour and showed us how to set the alarm, turn the pool waterfall on and work the air con. We travelled with our 2 young children (aged 4 and 1) and 3 grandparents. There was plenty of room and it was great knowing we had the place, more importantly the pool to ourselves. The children were able to play with toys, go in the pool and even ride some bikes which were available in the garage. There is a shower and sink available in every room except the children’s room which meant there were no long waits for the shower. 2 separate toilets too. The villa has been furnished beautifully and was very clean and tidy. The pool area and outside table and loungers were also exceptionally clean. The villa is a 5 min drive to the nearest supermarket in Chateaurenard, and Avingnon city is about 15 min drive away. We intended on having a relaxing break with family and that is exactly what we did. We would recommend staying here, great value for money, and a lovely setting for a family and children. Thank you Fabien, we will definitely be back.
