Le Chalet du Ciel is a secluded luxury spa retreat located in the mountains above Gstaad. This estate is for guests who value complete privacy, total silence, and absolute exclusivity. You are 23 minutes above the village, surrounded by open fields, forests, and dramatic Alpine views with no neighbors and no disturbances. You enjoy total seclusion, yet you are only minutes from the finest restaurants, luxury hotels, and the full glitz and glamour of Gstaad when you want it. This is the perfect balance between private sanctuary and high society access.

Summer

In summer the retreat is surrounded by green pastures, quiet forest trails, and fresh mountain air. The property overlooks a traditional dairy farm known for producing some of the finest aged cheeses in Switzerland. Soft cowbells echo through the valley while you relax in the sun or walk directly into nature from your door. It is calm, restorative, and completely private.

Winter

In winter the chalet becomes a serene snow covered sanctuary. The nearest slopes are a 8 minute drive away with access to more than 200 kilometers of pistes. After a day on the mountain you return to warmth, stillness, and total seclusion.

The outdoor spa is the centerpiece of Le Chalet du Ciel. Set on a panoramic terrace with sweeping mountain views, it features a large 8 person soaking hot pool and a panoramic view sauna that opens directly into the fresh Alpine air.

Staff maintain the real wood burning fireplaces, manage grocery shopping on request, assist with luggage, and keep the property immaculate so you can fully unwind without lifting a finger.

A 2026 Land Rover Defender with driver is included for your entire stay. Complimentary pickup and drop off to and from Gstaad is available between 8am to 4pm each day.

In winter the access road is maintained daily by the local commune.

The chalet is a 22 minute drive to the center of Gstaad, giving you instant access to Michelin restaurants, luxury hotels, boutique shopping, and the full Gstaad social scene whenever desired. You enjoy total privacy in the mountains with the freedom to dip into the village lifestyle at any moment.

Important Policies

This is a peaceful wellness retreat. No parties or loud music after 21.00. Sound carries through the valley and the quiet rhythm of nearby farms must be respected.

Unauthorized events carry a CHF 10000 fee and the booking may be canceled without refund.

Private events may be approved during the winter season with a supplemental fee between CHF 5000 and CHF 10000 depending on the scope.

As part of your stay, you’ll enjoy the exceptional care and attention of our dedicated Resident Chalet Butler, delivering a seamless experience that mirrors the standards of a five-star hotel. Thoughtful, discreet, and always attentive, your butler ensures that every detail is taken care of—so you can simply relax and enjoy your time in the mountains.

The butler is available for 8 hours each day, typically divided between a morning shift and a late afternoon to early evening service. From preparing your morning tea or coffee and making the beds, to providing evening turndown and maintaining the chalet throughout the day, the service is tailored to your rhythm and comfort. If you provide the ingredients, a light breakfast can also be prepared and served to your preferences.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with hot or cold lavender-scented towels and a personal tour of the property. Throughout your stay, your butler will ensure that every room remains pristine, drinks are served when desired, and any personal needs—such as shopping, luggage assistance, or special arrangements—are taken care of with ease.

Should you wish to extend the butler’s service beyond the standard 8 hours, additional time is available upon request at CHF 50 per hour.

No parties or loud music are permitted after 9 PM. Sound travels easily across the mountains, and we deeply respect the serene lifestyle of our neighboring farmers and residents.

Unauthorized events or gatherings are strictly prohibited. Please note that violations of this policy may result in a CHF 10,000 penalty and immediate termination of the booking without refund.
