We looked for a place fairly last minute as there was a change in our schedule. Our hosts were very accommodating and timely. The rental was ready for us. The location and views were wonderful. It was very private and the hot tub was the cherry on top. The property was spotless. It was close to towns and had a walkable neighborhood. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was a special and memorable way to start the new year. Thank you!

Beautiful Boat House

We had an amazing stay and fell in love with the Boat House. We look forward to staying there again in the future. The property was beautiful and we really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks!

Outstanding Views

We were celebrating my husband’s 70 th birthday.We came for the weekend. The house is perfect for any couple and has everything you need. The views are really outstanding and every room has a great view. It’s a bonus to have use of the paddle boards and kayaks,tho a little challenging with the boats going by. The hot tub has great views of the lake ,it was beautiful watching the sun set with the boats going by. Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back again in the fall.

Wonderful stay at the Boat House

The boathouse and property was stunning and very well appointed with everything we needed or could need. It was so clean and comfortable. We definitely felt right at home here. Sitting out on the deck enjoying the sun and looking out at the water was so relaxing. It was a wonderful getaway and we will certainly be back. Many thanks to our hosts for a memorable stay!

Lovely Lake House

We celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday in the Boat House. It was a perfect get away for us. Everything was so clean and modern. It smelled so fresh and was a great open floor plan. The bed was very comfortable. The host had everything well stocked and answered all of our questions promptly.

Birthday Lakeside Haven!

This Boathouse is incredible! Upon arrival, the first thing you notice is the beautiful view of the lake and wonderfully groomed landscaping. The house is literally gorgeous, clean, warm, private and was very welcoming for our 60th Birthday celebration. Plenty spacious for the two of us and our mini dachshund, who had the best time ever watching boats, jets skis and the fish, she even enjoyed kayaking! The Boathouse has all necessities, very comfortable bed and furniture to cozy up. We especially enjoyed the hot tub as we watched the sunset each night with some vino! Thank you Linda & Kerry for great communication and for sharing this beautiful boathouse. Will definitely return! Thanks, Brenda & Jennifer

A taste of lake life!

Beautiful little boat house - exactly what we were looking for to explore Lake Norman. Very private and charming. We enjoyed a boat tour from 77 Watersports and then rented a pontoon boat from them the next day… a great way to see the area! Thankful we had a chance to relax

Excellent Location On The Lake

Great boat traffic from the kitchen table windows. We watched men catching fish within 1 minute of casting. The Birds were abundant chirping loud. It rained our 3 days we were there but it did not stop us from kayaking or renting a Pontoon Boat at Play and Stay on Lake Norman it was 1 mile away and we drove the boat right up to our rental house. I cooked all of our meals the views were better than any restaurant. I even bought steaks at Sams and grilled. I loved how quickly Linda responded to my emails. I took 800 pictures on this trip. I am definitely going back. Definitely!

Gorgeous Location

This little boat house was absolutely gorgeous. It sits right on the water, has hammocks, a couple of fire pits, generous outside seating for multiple guests and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Inside is beautifully decorated with neutral colors that just make you relax once you walk inside. Most impressively, Linda has an eye for detail that just made the stay feel like a luxurious master suite. All the light switches were labeled, she has soaps and shampoos labeled and available if you forget your own. She left little single use make-up removers in the bathroom. The kitchen had coffee, creamer and sugar all readily available which was so nice to have after a long day of traveling. The Wi-fi and little directions for the house were in frames in the home so they were easily seen and followed. Oh, did I forget the paddle boards and kayaks?!?! And it's dog friendly!! Amazing home! You won't go wrong staying there. It is smaller, great for couples because it has a king size bed and one sofa. Will go back!
