This two bedroom residence is located on Queens Rd., one of the prettiest tree-lined avenues in the entire city.

We've maintained the character of the historic 1920's apartment building, while completely updating and renovating the interior. Stainless appliances with granite countertops, new heating and cooling systems and plumbing provide modern amenities, while the original refinished hardwoods, bathroom tile, graceful arched doorways and 2-panel doors provide the charm so often absent in new construction.

Large double-hung windows let in an abundance of light in all of the rooms, and the screened porch provides comfortable outdoor living space. The condo is located on the ground floor.

The galley kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc., a gas range with convection oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, and a stackable washer and dryer. Off of the kitchen, a dining area seats six.

In the large living room, upholstered furniture provides comfortable seating, and a flatscreen television offers entertainment options.

400-thread-count linens and thick Egyptian cotton towels offer all of the comforts of home, and each bedroom has a generous closet and a television. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the second 2 twins. The sofa in the living room converts to a comfortable (really!) queen sized bed.

Wide sidewalks and towering oaks throughout the neighborhood provide an ideal place for walking or jogging, and a coffee shop, multiple restaurants (including Ethiopian, Thai, casual and fine Italian, etc.), shopping and even an independent movie theater are a half mile away. Spring through fall, a farmers market is open Wed, Fri and Sat around the corner from the apartment, and a new greenway offers a convenient connection to Freedom Park, Dilworth and Carolinas Medical Center.

Ideal for short- or long-term stays for business or pleasure, or when visiting someone at either CMC or Presbyterian Hospitals, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay. We'll try hard to accommodate almost any special request and so are readily available should something come up.

The streetcar to Uptown is a 10 minute walk away. Uber/Lyft are also convenient options, and many bikeshare companies offer inexpensive bikes.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation, and this rule is strictly enforced. The information is collected for verification only and is not stored or used for any other reasons.

Pet Policy: We are a dog-friendly home! No other animals are allowed. If you are traveling with a dog, it must be registered at a cost of $59 per dog (two maximum). NOTE: please follow the instructions in the reservation confirmation to register your dog. If you do not register your dog, you will be charged $120 per dog. Dogs are never allowed on the furniture or bed. If there is hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, damage, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged an additional fee. If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
