Our stay was beyond horrendous. This was to be a relaxing and comforting wknd with friends following the devastating loss of my father. Sadly, once I respectfully notified the owner of a few privacy and health concerns the evening of check-in, our first morning was met with multiple calls and emails from Vrbo along with messages from the owner falsely accusing us of having a party, playing loud music, exceeding our party limit, and requesting we leave the property immediately. On our first night, I notified the owner Samantha of a blood stained comforter on the master bed accompanied with photos, as well as a second ring camera that was disguised within the living room bookshelf that was not disclosed to us previously but was found by my 13yr old. (She disclosed 1 indoor camera not 2). Once I messaged the owner complementing her beautiful home and bringing up the privacy and health concerns considering we were 6 female Nurse professionals, Directors and 9 children, we were subsequently met with notifications to vacate the home by 11am for falsified violations that never occurred and all of which she accused her neighbors or reporting. No music was played at all, no party was had, our occupancy was only 15, and no neighbors complained. The owners reaction clearly indicated she was offended that 15 black ppl staying in her home would dare raise any form of privacy and health concerns with her. Be cautious of this home and the owner. For over 18,400 we deserved better!
