The Neighborhood:
The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great property!

The property was clean, organized and very spacious. The host was incredibly responsive! We had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy. I will definitely come back to this host and property!

Spacious Home In Charleston

We enjoyed our stay here with our two college age adult children - everyone had their own space, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with the necessities. It is a few blocks away from King St., dining and other amenities. Highly recommend!

Very Comfortable

Much nicer than we anticipated from the pictures. The quality of the apartment and the tasteful decorations added to the charm, comfort and relaxing vibe. The location was great with restaurants and sights just a walk or short ride-share away. We had an issue with the hot water but the property manager got it fixed pronto, sending over a technician who gave us some great trips to enhance our visit to Charleston! Would use again.

Very nice and clean home

We liked the layout of this home, and it had sufficient bathrooms for all of us. The common area is a little small and would benefit from more comfortable furniture to hang out, but the bedrooms were well appointed, and the porch was nice to sit and have coffee or a drink. The only real issue with the property was the noise in the area. Specifically, the other rentals (the one next door is a hostel). The older houses lack sound proofing and there were a couple times I heard people outside the home talking loudly at 3 AM. We were also on the ground floor and unit above had a family could be heard walking around, sometimes late in the evening so it made it a little harder to sleep. The location is not bad. It is about a mile to King Street, so it is walkable if you don't mind the hike. It was also nice to have parking, but it is not on the property. It is one street over and was a bit of a hike to get too. But better than nothing.

10 minute drive to carnival

The location was close to walking distance to restaurants. There was plenty of space for 8 people. We did have a problem with the air conditioner but it eventually did cool down after we spoke to the owner. She sent a repair person over. There were fans set up in each of the rooms so that helped a little bit. It was very nice and as indicated the sitting area is small but we made it work. Very easy to get into to.

Beautiful House in a Great Location

This was a beautiful home near the heart of Charleston. It was easy to get around, easy to find, etc. The common area was small, as indicated by the other reviews but the amount and spaciousness of the bedrooms more than made up for it! It was perfect for our traveling family and we really appreciated the proximity King Street, etc. Would 100% book again!

Great location for my daughter's 19th birthday celebration! Great sized bedrooms and bathrooms. All the extras you'd need. Parking is not onsite, which was a bit of a surprise, but awesome stay overall. Thank you!

This was a decent place just to sleep. We had a very hard time getting over to work…very hard time getting television to work. We had 8 adults and there was not enough seating space for everyone. It was nice weather on Saturday and we were able to sit on the porch but we had an early evening Saturday night and we just had to retire to the bedrooms.

Nice amenities; however, a few more towels and a box of tissue would have been nice. Pillows were not very good, and a couple more chairs in the living/kitchen area needed. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Nice place but small issues

Property was nice. 4 bedrooms with a small couch and chair. Needs more and better seating options. Couch and chair not very nice or comfortable. Not sure how well it was cleaned as used wash rag was over top of the shower head in main bedroom. One of the nights was really windy and shutters kept beating into home. Other than those issues, was a nice older home in a decent location.

Lovely home and great location!

This property is so cute and kept up very nicely. It is in a great location as it doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic so it is pretty quiet, but is extremely close to downtown and all that King Street has to offer. My group had a great time in Charleston and kept raving on how great the house was! Thank you for having us and making our Charleston trip an excellent one.

Charming in Charleston.

The Inns at 154 Spring St. was very nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. It met all the needs for our family trip to Charleston for the CHS Wine and Food Festival. We had the entire first floor, which consisted of 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, with a little sitting area, kitchen and porch. Most of the festival events were only a short UBER/LYFT ride away. Great breakfast places are within walking distance, as well as King St for dinner and late night. Our only complaint was a 14 person bachelor party arrived our second night and they were staying on the second floor. Very NOISY night. My son addressed the issue with the guys and all good after that. It's an old house, beautifully renovated, but not very well insulated for sound. Would we stay there again??? ABSOLUTELY!
