Location, Location, Location! We loved how easy it was to get to King St. and so many great shops and places to eat. I highly recommend Brown Dog Deli...it was so good we walked there twice! The apartment was super cute and had everything we needed. We all definitely did notice a musty smell each time we entered the space but we got used to it. I know this is sometimes the case in older buildings and could easily be improved with a reed diffuser or something similar. It did take me a few minutes to figure out how to work the locks on both sets of doors but once I understood how to correctly do it, we had no problems. My biggest issue was with the parking. I did not realize that only units B,C, and D have a spot behind the building and A has to park behind a neighboring church. This actually was a better situation because getting into the spots behind the apartment building would be very difficult with a larger car. There was no signage behind the church for exactly where to park for unit A. There were permanent signs denoting assigned spots for other units/rental companies but not Shangri-La. On our last day, a man from parking authority or maybe the church was giving me a hard time about where I was parked but it was the only space due to 6 work vans for a nearby home that was being renovated. Luckily, we were departing but I would definitely be annoyed if this had occurred earlier in our stay. All in all, this was a cute place to stay in an absolutely gorgeous part of town.

We had a great time, the unit was spotless and felt clean, without stinky air fresheners. Entry using the key pads was easy, communication was great with stay duvet (we just needed a couple extra washcloths) they arrived super timely even though they don’t technically have to give additional linens. I’d stay here again/ it was just a block from king street too which was really nice to be right here. Holey city bagels and coffee is right across the street too… a good 2 bed 1 bath vrbo, two thumbs up.

My mom, sister and I had a fantastic experience with Duvet! The company was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early, which really helped us start our trip on the right foot. Their responses were always prompt and helpful, making communication a breeze. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and attention to detail. Highly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable stay. We would definitely return!

Girls Weekend

We had the best stay in Charleston! The house is just as adorable as it looks. Very very clean! Extremely prompt and reliable communication with property managers (which wasn’t really needed). The neighborhood is very cute and walkable to everything. We did rent a car for convenience, but it was definitely not necessary unless you’re planning to leave the city. 10 out of 10 recommend. Would definitely stay again.
