You'll be staying on the most lively and charming street Downtown! This is the FULL Charleston experience. Shops and restaurants just steps from your door, amazing architecture all around you, and the Historic Rainbow Row, Battery Park, and City Market just a few blocks' walk away. Some of the country's finest cuisine can be found in the neighborhood. FIG, 167 Raw, Zero George, Poogan's Porch, and HUSK just to name a few! Stroll down to Callie's Hot Little Biscuit (another Charleston Staple) to grab breakfast and a coffee.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere downtown from the house, but should you want to rest your feet there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Charleston bike taxi & Charleston Rickshaw, green taxi or yellow cab are a few options. There is also a city-wide bike share program called Holy City Spokes, which is a very affordable way to rent bikes and enjoy the city!

Excellent location and well appointed apartment. I highly recommend staying here. I would have given 5 stars, but they decided to paint the main stairs leading up to the apartment on the day we arrived. We needed to use the back door and go around the block to get to the main road. Not a huge issue, but annoying that we were not able to access King St directly during our stay.

This is The Place to Stay In Charleston

Penthouse on King is fantastic! As beautiful as the pictures are, the apartment is even more spectacular. You can’t beat the location- just a short walk from most anything you’d want to do, in this fabulous city. The rooftop patio is beautiful for morning coffee and sunset cocktails. Our host David, was extremely accessible, and while we didn’t need anything, it was a welcome addition knowing we could reach him easily if we did. This was one of the best travel experiences We’ve had. Check in and check out were a breeze. There is no on site parking, but this isn’t a problem, because the public parking garage is about 1/2 block away. If you are on the fence, book this place…you won’t regret it!

Perfect!

Wow, this place is wow. The location is perfect. One in our party parked at the suggested parking garage (a stones throw from the house) and the others took an easy Uber from the airport. We walked EVERYwhere... shopping / amazing restaurants... everywhere. Even though you're on King St. and over a pub, you'll sleep like a babe. The pub closes early and the nightlife is far enough away that you're unaffected. The owner even has noise machines in each bedroom. Truly perfect for our long weekend away.

Three-day luxury get-away

It is truly a beautiful property. The location is great as well. Just a note that the third bedroom does not have its own shower and needs to share with one of the other ensuites. Not a big issue for our particular party but might be an issue for others. Otherwise it was just perfect. Thank you!

Holiday in Charleston

It was perfect! The Pent house was in the best location and was so comfortable for our family. We WILL be back. The only thing I could suggest is a noise maker for the main level bedroom as you can hear the music from below. We used the portable fan that was in the room and that helped. The lights were a tiny bit confusing to figure out but we managed. Small instructions would have been helpful. But literally so clean and beautiful and comfortable. Definitely gets 5 stars!

Prime Location!

This property was in a prime location! We only had to use our cars once, you can really walk everywhere. The space is just as shown in the photos and everything was in good condition. Nice rooftop area and plenty of space inside to hang out. The two upstairs bedrooms are very large. The property management was very responsive and great to work with! Only thing I would mention is that this space is on the second floor above shops and bars so the noise on the weekends at night can be a bit loud until about midnight but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. Also getting heavy luggage up was a bit of a challenge, but again just something to note. Overall would stay here again!!
